Lomo cameras

I recently love cameras, especially the cameras with films. Because of the improvement of the technology, old school cameras are now unpopular. But, recently I found out a group called:”Lomography.” This group of people play lomo cameras which use the films. With this kind of cameras, we can shoot some interesting photos. By lomo effect, photos become differently, unlike the digital ones. L will then learn how to shoot photos and some special techniques. I want to travel all around the world in the future, so it is important to learn the shooting skills. It will make my life memorable. (100 words)

Report-Why Students Should Eat Breakfast Every Day

I choose this composition because the topic is interesting. The author used a question to be the topic, and I interesting in author’s opinion. In the first paragraph, I think the thesis statement is not complete. He can list the three reasons that he was going to say.

In his first supporting paragraph, the topic sentence is “The first reason why you should eat breakfast before going to school is for your health.” He listed some examples to show the important of eating breakfast before going to school. If we don’t eat the breakfast, we will be looking for a disease. Maybe he can show more examples to support this paragraph.

In the second supporting paragraph, the topic sentence is “Another reason for eating breakfast is because you need food for to do well in your classes.” This paragraph is talking about the effects of learning. The author argued that a lot of people think that they should not eat because they are going to feel tired, but that is not true. I propose showing some studies in this paragraph is better.

In the third supporting paragraph, the topic sentence is “The last reason to have breakfast every day is because you can avoid diseases if you eat some breakfast in the morning.” This paragraph is similar with the first supporting paragraph. In my opinions, the author can talk about the benefits of eating breakfast. It can shows the contrast between the first and the third supporting paragraph.

In the last paragraph, I like the last sentence “eating breakfast is the better way to start your day.” Apparently the author considers that eating breakfast is important. He used a good end to respond to his whole essay. I really identified with his opinions. Eating breakfast is the happiest thing in my life.

Book Review-Human nature

I think "Before I Go to Sleep and Divergent" have something in common, it’s human nature.

Society in Divergent is divided into five factions. They are Candor, Erudite, Amity, Abnegation and Dauntless. I think the faction system in Divergent is a rule to build a peaceful world. Each faction has different manners. Someone who breaks the rule or who is divergent will become a factionless. Just like criminal people were sent to prison. This system seems to be a good idea to keep the world operating peacefully, but, is it really a good way to run our life and our world? I think it isn’t. Animals have different emotions and actions that we can’t control or know them, moreover, human have more expressions of emotions and actions, how can this faction system control and divide people in five groups? Human have different characteristics and thoughts. No one is just good at one thing, but Divergent divide human nature in five groups and forbid them to have another characteristic. I think this system will be broke in the end.

Take Candor for example, if Candor told someone that they are ugly or fat, it may be honest but is it kind? It may make others feel bad or angry. Sometimes, telling a white lie is better than telling the truth. Just like Ben in Before I go to Sleep, he didn’t tell Christine about her son and accident, because he didn’t want her feel sad, and neither did Dr. Nash. Or Amity will tell a white lie to keep others feel happy and without conflict to keep the world peaceful. The truth can be very painful to hear, but sometimes, telling the truth can help them to be better. When Christine knew that she had a friend and son, her memories instinctively came back for a short period of time. Although she will forget everything after she go to sleep, but she can write down her memories in her journal and it can help her to remember her past. If in the real world, one’s just has one trait or behavior, they are not human, they are robots.

In Before I Go to Sleep, Mike pretend to be Christine’s husband, although Christine called him Ben instead of Mike that make him felt bad, still he love Christine so much and want to live with her together. Mike expressed his love in extremely crazy way, he lie to Christine and didn’t want her to see a doctor as a way to manipulate her life. Christine had an affair with Mike. When she wanted to end their relationship, she was hit by Mike and become an amnesia and finally lived in deception with Mike. Christine has a husband, but she still date with Mike, I think her misfortune was karma, so she must pay for this. I think that we will never know exactly what the other person is thinking. Mike did everything he could do to pretend her husband, he took pictures and made scrapbook and he is also very patients with her, but, still he couldn’t control her thoughts and keep her without seeing a doctor or remembering her past. Just like faction system would not control all the people, because human have different thinking, feeling and acting. Forcing them into five groups and one person can only have a characteristic, like Dauntless should be brave and do dangerous things; Abnegation should be selfless and live in simple life; Candor should be honest; Erudite is dedicated to knowledge and intelligence and Amity is dedicated to peacefulness and kindness. They are all represent human characteristics traits, but I think that faction system could not change human nature.

Every human being have different nature, like Tris, she was born in the faction Abnegation, but she is not limited to exhibit only one of the five traits. She is a curious, brave and smart girl. Her aptitude test showed that her result is equal in Abnegation, Dauntless and Erudite. In their faction system, divergent is dangerous and forbidden. I think it is because that divergent will breaking the balance of faction system. One only has a trait, if someone has other traits, it is unfair, and other people will want to have more traits or abilities so that faction system will be destroyed. In Divergent, their world seems peaceful, but actually, Erudite was greedy for political power and tried to fight against Abnegation. Maybe Candor and Amity will fight for their faction either. Candor is nature of honest, although sometimes, telling the truths will make someone feel bad, they still tell them the truths, but, Amity is nature of peacefulness, they will tell a white lie to keep the peace rather than make someone feel angry or sad. Their nature is opposite to each other and they will argue with their traits or action just like religious war. The faction system restricts human nature and traits that will crumbled in the end.

My conclusion is that human nature is native instinct that we can’t change or restrict it. We can tell someone what is right, what is wrong, but, we can’t control their thoughts and actions, it’s up to them to make decisions about where they go or what they do. Just like bird can fly, spider spin webs or birds build nets by instinct. If we force animals to change their behavior, they will extinct in the world. Although I haven’t finished Divergent yet, I think that faction system will be end by Tris and people will not be restricted to develop their characteristics and trait.

Book Review-Comparison between Eddie and Tris

Tris, she is a girl born in Abnegation, but she chooses Dauntless in her sixteen. Although her father was angry at the moment, he still wants to see her doing well in the faction. Eddie, he is a man who works in Ruby Pier all his life. He hates his father and he isn’t satisfied with his job because he does the same job as his father.

In the “divergent”, there is going to hold a important ceremony when you are sixteen, it means you need to make a choice between family and faction. If Eddie has the opportunity to choose, I think he would choose faction. Because he wants to change his life, he doesn’t want to stay at Ruby pier. If he leaves his family alone, everything would be changed, and he would never know what was happen between his parents and Mickey. For me, I would choose family rather than faction, because every time when I felt disappointed or confused, they always tried to help me figure it out and consoled me. So, I think that Eddie and Tris are the divergent!

In the “the five people you meet in heaven”, there are Blue man, Captain, Ruby, Eddie’s wife and Tala. They are waiting for Eddie when Eddie is dead. I think that it is a challenge for Eddie and he must forgive someone and tries to let someone forgive him with what he had done. For example, Eddie hates his father all his life until he meet Ruby who tell him” forgive, Edward. Forgive, that’s because no one is born with anger.”, and he choose to forgive his dad. For Tris, she also needs to face the challenge, but when she does it, she is alive rather than dead. She must face her fear and proof herself that what she chosen was right. And I think that there is no parents who don’t love their children and his father forgive her and having to work is his excuse since he is too shy to say embarrassed words. So, there is a challenge for Eddie and Tris, and they need to solve it.

Captain shot Eddie’s leg when they are in danger, and when Eddie knew it, he was really irritating, and he thought that Captain destroy his life. With his leg crippled, he can’t change a job and leave Ruby Pier. And Tris was attacked by Peter, AL and Drew, they were afraid of her, because they thought she is a potential contender. Without her, Peter may win the championship easily. So, Eddie and Tris are hurt in the procedure.

Four like Tris, and I really think that they may be the couple when Tris win the final test. The divergent is unpredictable because the content is a little crazy. For instance, no one will jump to the ground when the train is moving! Eddie still loved his wife although she died in her forty-seven. When he meet her in heaven, they talked a lot, and she said”Life has to end .love doesn’t”. It’s hard to imagine how could he live without his wife for more than thirty years. So, love is essential for people, not only for young people but also for old people.

Then, Tris was a selfish girl when she chose Dauntless, and her brother chose Erudite. His father tell them that how the Erudite attack Abnegation. So, I can imagine how angry their father was when her brother chose Erudite. Eddie was brave and unselfish when he tried to solve the girl who was upon the ride's metal base. It is really kind for Eddie and I think he like kids although he doesn't have any son or daughter. So, Tris and Eddie are brave. Eddie is unselfish while Tris is selfish!

If Tris live in a real world, she would be a soldier or police officer. She is brave enough to suffer from pain during the training. And I believe she will become stronger and do well in the group. Then, if Eddie lives in 2012, his leg would probably not be crippled. In nowadays, surgeon's skill is greater than ever before, hence, his leg will be recovered.

So, what I learnt from these books? First, I learned that sometimes you just need a little insane courage to do something different. And your life will totally be changed. Ten years later, when you remind of what you had done, you may be regret, but it is an important memory at least. Like Tris, she leaves her family, but she doesn't regret .Second, I learned that hating someone is poison; it hurt you eternally until you forgive him. For example, Eddie hates his dad all his life, but he doesn't get any profit. He didn't get over it until Ruby told him. Third, being weak is greater than being strong. Human who is jealous of your strong ability will do something bad to you and try to beat you at first. So, you don't want to be a loser at first. That's why people usually said "Be modest all the time!"

I think that both of "divergent" and "the five people you meet in heaven" are not difficult for us to read. Divergent is so interesting that I like the unpredictable setting. And the “five people you meet in heaven", when I read it, I must be patient because the plots are so smooth.

A report on “Why People Should Read for Pleasure”

     In “Why People Should Read for Pleasure” (Advanced Composition for Non-Native Speakers of English http://eslbee.com/why_people_should_read_for_pleasure.htm), the author wants to tell us that the Internet and the TV cause people to change their likes in free time. The writer encourages people to read for pleasure, so the writer takes three advantages to suggest people.

    The first reason that we should enjoy reading is when we read, we can expand our knowledge and culture. To me, I think the view is correct, because I believe that the more knowledge we learn, the more achievement we get. In addition, I also believe we can learn many different things and views that we can’t learn from parents or teachers. The writer also mentions that the people who read more often frequently have a bigger knowledge of life.

    The second reason is that through books we can have fun and even travel in our imagination. Adults and children have the ability to imagine, and the imagination also can help us to develop our professional career in a creative way. Once I had read a story and imagined that I was a superman to save the world from bad guys. Although it was an imagination, I thought that I also had the power to help others.

    The third reason is that reading offers us that it does not matter the age that we have, we always can expand our vocabulary and the ways to express our ideas to the others in a simple and correct form. In my opinion, people should be never too old to learn. Take paragraph’s example, people who choose a formal book in which they can find formal grammatical structures, which allow us to gain greater fluency in communication.

In fact reading is better than other way to do in our free time, because reading not only can expand our knowledge and culture, but also can have fun and in our imagination through books. Summer vacation in the USA

Summer vacation is coming! This summer, I've planned myself a perfect plan- having the job in the United States. I've dream to have a job or live in another country for many years. And this year, my dream will be come true! Working holidays have become a popular activity in teenagers nowadays. The original purpose of working holidays is to experience difference culture, not to make money! We have to face a lot of difficulties during working holidays. And we have to solve the problem ourselves! I’m going to the U.S.A with my classmate, Alice. This is our time to go to the United States ourselves. When I first told my parents that I would like to go to the USA to have a job, they refuse immediately! I was so angry and there’s come several family conflicts. After I told my parents why I want to go to the USA, they finally agree it.

To go to the USA, we will face many problems. First, the language. We might face a situation that the Americans speak so quick that we cannot understand what they talking about. Second, the racial discrimination. We might be bull by other people because we are the yellow. Third, why my job is heavier than any other. These are the very common that we would face in the USA.

I want to work at the USA because I am English major, I want to improve my English speaking skill ability. Why I want to enter this working holiday program is because I would like to experience American cultures and local life by working with the Americans and other international students, so I can meet some new friends at work and also travel to some cities like New York, LA or San Francisco.

My job is a ride operator. My Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ensuring the proper operation of the assigned ride location. Duties include, but are not limited to, informing guests of an enforcing ride rules, regulations and admission requirements, handling guest situations and maintaining the cleanliness of the ride, ride area and the entire park. Additional responsibilities include; ensuring the cleanliness of the park walkways, common areas, trash can exteriors, drinking fountains, pay phones, and benches as well as providing information and directions to our guests. And I also have to continuous standing, working in various weather conditions, ability to climb nine stories of stairs and assist small children under 50 pounds.

I’m going to the USA in the next Thursday. It’s really quick. I feel a little exciting and nervous. Because it’s my first time to take a plan by myself. I’m worry about that I can arrive to the USA safely. God bless me that I can safely survive in the United States! (464)

Movie response of Bridget Jones' Diary

Bridget Jones who is the main-actress always gets troubles, and goes off into wild flights of fancy. She met a wonderful man, Mark, an outstanding lawyer. How different they were! They still fell in love with each other. Bridget could be the most felicitous woman; however she was too confused with her love and life. Whatever Mark really loved her, she still could not believe herself.

Therefore, there were some obstructions between them. Mark’s colleague, Rebecca, is a beautiful woman. She is so beautiful that Bridget was afraid of Mark will change his mind and fall in love with Rebecca. So Bridget became jealous and suspicious. She started to do something that could attract Mark’s attention. However she failed. Everything she tried to show was got troubles! She felt out of her plate with a heavy heart. At the same time, Daniel who was Bridget’s ex-boyfriend wanted to retrieve Bridget’s mind. What a nervous relationship they had!

At the end of the movie, Bridget gets a clear understanding of the truth. She knows that Daniel is still a stunk, and loves Mark deeply! To everyone’s surprise, Rebecca loves Bridget at first sight! How a surprise and happy ending!

The most impressing plot is that Bridget was sent to prison by accident. And then, when Mark went to help Bridget, he was too indifferent and made Bridget grievous. It is very dramatic to make us cry. The lovers who loves each other; however they always make the other sad. And I thought the movie tells us about cherishing everything that we have at this moment! Whatever you want, you must to go to pursue bravely. ‘‘Actions speak louder than words’’. Right now, don’t be afraid and go straightly. You can do everything.

news about Guang Ta Hsin 28 incident

Taiwan and the Philippines are embroiled in a major diplomatic dispute after the Philippines coast guard fatally shot a Taiwanese fisherman in disputed waters earlier last month.

The 65-year-old fisherman was shot in waters which both sides say lie within their 200-nautical-mile from shore exclusive economic zone.

The Philippine coastguard said its crew acted in self-defence, believing Mr. Hung's boat was trying to ram their vessel. However, the other Taiwanese fishermen on board denied this and gave a different version of events.

The TURE is Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) MURDERED a Taiwan fisherman on Taiwan and Philippines overlapped EEZs, not on Philippines Territorial water.

There are total 52 bullet holes found on the Taiwanese fishing boat,
Chen Wen-chi, head of the Taiwan team investigating the May 9 incident, said most of the bullets had hit the fishing boat's cockpit where its crew hid.

"By combining the... evidence, it clearly shows that the Philippine law enforcers were intentionally shooting the Guang Ta Hsin 28 crew members, which indicates their intent of murder.

The Philippines apologized for the incident, but Taiwan rejected the apology, saying it lacked sincerity.

Taiwan has imposed a host of economic measures against the Philippines, including suspending visa processing for Filipino workers and cutting trade exchanges. It has also conducted military drills in the disputed waters.

Report of Finding Why Trying to Be Happy Makes Us Unhappy?

    I read the composition online, its title is Does Trying to Be Happy Makes Us Unhappy?. The author is Adam Grant, Wharton professor. In the first paragraph, the introductory paragraph, the author mentioned that citizens in the United States are granted three inalienable rights: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. And he also mentioned a country, Bhutan. I think it is very interesting. Because Bhutan is famous for the index of happiness. It is ingenious to take the kingdom of Bhutan for example. He also used a question that if searching for happiness actually prevents us from finding it. I think it is an affirmative sentence that Adam wanted to persuade us but not a question. And he told us that there is a reason. In the next paragraph, he gave an example again; Tom is the character. It let his idea be convincing!

     For one thing, the author mentioned the word study. It means there are some studies that can prove the idea. However, he talked about Tom , a savant who can speak many languages. Adam described Tom vividly when he said Tom speaks half a dozen languages, from Chinese to Welsh. In the beginning of Tom's story, Adam told us Tom was unsatisfied in the college time when he found he did not want to major in the computer science actually. Then, Tom became obsessed with happiness. He always wanted to pursue his ideal career and the culture he thought perfectly match for his interests and values. It is related to the topic. Tom is a person who tried to be happy. There are a lot of details about Tom's experience for changing his jobs and place he lived.

    The careers and countries couldn't fulfill him. He moved to many countries and changed his jobs as long as he felt the path couldn't make him happy. On the other hand, even if he found he was suitable for the job he didn't like the country or the culture such as Beijing's. So he kept moving to other countries because he hoped to make himself happy. In addition, Tom even worked on a website to help couples spend more quality time together. Unfortunately, he failed to feel happy. There are many details about Tom's story in the paragraphs.

    In the fourth paragraph, the author just talked about reasons Tom couldn't feel happy. It also told us why a person who trying to be happy make himself or herself unhappy even though he or she tries hard. From the fourth paragraph to the eighth paragraph, Adam wrote the main body finally! He indicated that the first mistake of Tom was trying to figure out if he was happy. Adam said when we pursue happiness, our goal is to experience more joy and contentment. But when we are making progress, we also need to compare our past happiness to our current happiness. I agreed with the idea. Adam then mentioned Csikszentmihalyi and a flow state. It makes the composition convinced too. The second error was in overestimating the impact of life circumstances on happiness. The third misstep was in pursuing happiness alone. It noted that a study shows the greater the value people placed on happiness, the more lonely they felt every day for the next two weeks. At the eighth paragraph, Adam said that The final mistake was in looking for intense happiness. It is the most important part for the topic. Sometimes we may forget to cherish everything we have. If we are always looking for intense happiness, we will become very unsatisfied. Adam adds some details to support the main idea.

    Finally, instead of pursuing happiness alone, Tom fell in love and got married. Tom became happy because he followed the advice of psychologists Ken Sheldon and Sonja Lyubomirsky: "Change your actions, not your circumstances." Tom don't evaluating his happiness daily and hunting for his dream job. He is finding flow and experiencing daily satisfaction in helping his wife set up a company. The author gave us a very relevant example, Tom's story. I think it is a good composition. It is very detailed and easy for me to read. I can totally understand the idea and the author's viewpoints. As the great philosopher John Stuart Mill once wrote, "Those only are happy who have their minds fixed on some object other than their own happiness." This ending is also a good quote that is connected to the topic.

After I read the composition Transportation for Going to Chinese Culture University

Why I choose this composition is because I'm studying in Chinese Culture University now. It’s my daily life’s description. Students in PCCU take different kinds of transportation when they go to school. For example, some people drive cars, ride motorcycles, or take buses; others can take taxis. Most CCU students go to school by taking one of the above transportation means in different situations according to their needs and financial conditions.

I live near the school, so I won’t have to take the transportation every day. But, when I go back to Changhua, my hometown, I have to take the transportation to home and go back to school.

For me, I take the bus most of the time. The reason why I take the bus is because is cheap. It only cost 15 dollar one trip. Bit when I in a hurry, I will decide to take a taxi. It’s quicker than bus because the driver drive so quickly that I feel dizzy every when I take the taxi. It’s also much more expensive than take the bus. It will cost 60~65 dollar.

In the conclusion, my classmate has the same decision as me. We all take the public transportation to school. Because it is safe, cheap, and convenient. (209)

A trip to Hualien

This term is almost finishing, and summer vacation is coming, which reminds me the trip I went to Hualien at last summer vacation. It was a fine trip when I and my friend went there, there are many cool things in Hualien, but the best part of Hualien is the view of their villages, mountains, beaches, and oceans. The villages are quite and peace and the people over there are nice and friendly. We went to the Taroko national park and see the great view of mountains, the air is fresh and the view is glorious. After we leave the Taroko national park , we went to the seven star beach and enjoy the water from ocean, there are many tourist and is full of crowds, but suddenly there is something happen, it’s raining cats and dogs and every people is running. I and my friends run to the car and then it comes to silent, after a few seconds we all burst out laughing, and thinks that this is a funny moment, I’ll never forget this memory.

If you want to travel in Taiwan, I’ll definitely suggest you Hualien, here are the reason that I suggest you.

First of all, Hualien have the most fresh air and best view in Taiwan, if you like to take a walk and feel the nature, Hualien is your first choice.

Secondly, if you like to eat delicious food, there are many kinds of food you can choose, fresh fishes, barbeques, and some snack, also the milk from farm is a good choice.

Finally, if you like to hang out at night, there is always a night market open for you, and it will close until 2 AM, there have many delicious food and sell every kinds of things you can imagine.

These are the reason that I suggest Hualien as your next travel place, hope you enjoy it. （319）

In nowadays, more and more people are didn’t want to get married. Having a stable boyfriend or a stable girlfriend is a normal thing now because those people do not want to get married. They may think it is not important to get married or bear a child. In this article, it said ‘’70% of wage earners lack finances for marriage’’. ‘’84 percent said they do not have enough savings and salaries, while 49 percent said their jobs are unstable.’’ They said their salaries didn’t allow them to build a family, even have a cute baby, it is impossible. But some wage earners do not want to get married just because they have not met the right person. These reasons the wage earners do not want to get married are reality in today. The salary is the big problem. If a man has a salary about 3, 5000 dollars in one month, and he need to pay the rent, pay for the utility bills, pay the telephone bill and so on. I think these bills already make his salary run out. He does not save money because he did not have more money can save. So he will not want to get married, because build a family need to have much money. And if a couple bears a child, but their circumstance is not great, will their child has a good life? I don’t think so. Of course, meeting a right guy is really important. There were so many news about divorce, so get married with a right guy is very important.

Getting a part time job in USA

This summer vacation, I plan to work at America. This is my first time to work overseas, and it is also the first time to go America. Although it is not my first part time job and my first abroad, it is the farthest country I had ever to go. My job over there is a ride operator in the amusement park. Job duties include testing equipment, operating rides, assisting guests with seating, giving safety instructions to guests, maintaining cleanliness of the park, sweeping, removing trash, and providing a high level of guest service as well as other duties as assigned. Our employer provides the dorm. It costs me $45.6 per week. I will be paid US$ 7.5 per hour. I have about 30 to 40 work hours per week depending on the business.

Because I major in English in college, I spend lots of time studying English and learning the western cultures by books, so I want to explore the real American life by working and living with Americans, and this program can give me a good chance to see absolutely another world and another life. The purpose of joining the program is not to make money. I want to experience American cultures and life by working and living in US. I want to make friends from different countries to broaden my horizons and learn different cultures and new things by exchanging ideas and opinions, so I can develop my international perspectives. I have never stayed away from my family so far, so I want to train myself to be more mature and independent by working in a foreign country. I would like to improve my English communication skills, especially the listening and speaking abilities, by interacting with the American or international co-workers and the customers. I would like to learn the American cultures and learn how to communicate with people from different countries and different culture background. I also want to learn new skills and enjoy the American food while working in US.

I plan to travel to New York and Florida for a week after the program. It is important for me to take a rest after working. Although preparing the data to go USA is tired and busy, spending too much commission annoying, I still expect this working and traveling chance. Taking a sun bath at the beach and shopping in the big mall may cure my tiredness.

After I see the movie" The BJ's single diary

According to the story, this year, there was a crucial difference about Bridget Jones. Her boyfriend, Mark Darcy, is perfectionism. Not a fuckwit, alcoholic, workaholic or megalomaniac but a sex god and human rights lawyer to her. Bridget Jones is a love pariah no more!

Although she doesn’t have confidence to her stature, Mark has a very high regard for Bridget’s wobbly bits. He loves the way just she is!

There was something happened in the Law Council dinner and the skiing vacation, they discovered they had so much difference between each other. They broke up!

But they bonded at last. And had a wonderful ending.

As we can see, she found her happy ending at last. Because she truly believes that happiness is possible even she is not a perfect woman!

I like Bridget Jones, because she care about human society and she is a responsible journalist. But she has come shortcoming, for example, she always want to lose weigh because she has no confidence about her body. But she found her love in the end because she discovered that Mark Darcy is still love with her, and she wanted his love back. And I admire her so much!

I don’t like Mark Darcy because he has no courage to pursue his true love although he is a human rights lawyer.

But finally, he knew that Bridget is his true love and win her back at last!

    Like a dose of salts, my life in university has already passed three-fourths. I am in the third year of the university now. In this year, I was very busy because I was one members of English department student association. In addition, I also take many courses, such as English literature II, American literature, business English, translation, English writing, and so on. By taking these courses, I can learn some foreign culture, learn how to do a good translation, and learn how to write a good essay. My third year in university is liberal and wonderful.
    In the whole courses, I like English writing best. I think it is the most helpful for me. I can not only learn how to write a good essay but also improve my English abilities. My English abilities are better than that before. I also learn some principles from teachers. They teach me a lot. I am glad that I can learn many things from teachers. Now, my third year of the university is going to be ended. I hope that I can do my best in the last year of the university.

    When it comes to learning English, I got much knowledge from a book, which taught me many strategies to learn English well. I have learned English since I was a child. At the beginning, my English was very poor. Thus, I was afraid of learning English and thought that English was very boring. One day, my elementary school teacher taught me to sing an English song. I hadn’t learned English by singing English songs. Thus, I thought that English is interesting rather than boring. After that, I gradually liked English. I listened to English songs before I went to bed. Thus, I made a lot of progress on English. When I was in junior high school, I also read English magazines. To improve my English, I study English at least an hour every day. From then on, I got into the habit of studying English every day. It is important for me to study English every day. Now, I have great grades on English. And, English becomes my favorite subject. I hope that I can keep this good habit forever. My strategy to learn English well is to study English every day.

News about Drunk Driving

About a week ago, the famous female doctor 曾御慈 was hit by a 80 speed per hour car and bomb few meters away when she was crossing the street. The murder is a 38 years old salesman who wanted to escape the sobriety test.

曾御慈is the disciple of the famous doctor 柯文哲 in the National Taiwan University Hospital. When he saw her, he could not help blending the drunk driver is too hateful!

曾御慈 graduated from National Taiwan University, Institute of Clinical Medicine. She also very pleased to take over the AIDS patient from time to time. She is a doctor who full of justice, concerning about the disadvantage patient and always put the patient in the first place.

Her biggest dream is to go to the underdeveloped countries to take care of patients. With her own professional help, more poor people in need will be helped. Her colleagues also said 曾御慈 had planned to go to Europe and the United States for more studies, but her dream was ended by this suddenly drunk driving accident .

I think the law about drunk driving in Taiwan is very bad. Because the laws do not protect the passer-by’s safty. In Taiwan, when you hit somebody, you just pay the money so that you won’t be pull in jail. Even, you hit someone and let him die, you just pay the money and pull in jail several years. You won’t have to pay your life to the death.

The law should be stricter so that no one would break the rule. The most important is do not drive when you drunk.    (280)
