Return on Investment

After the mid-term exam, a classmate talked to me about “return on investment”. She thought it was unfair that the grades didn’t always equal to how much effect you devote yourself to the study. I agreed with her opinion. I have also found that that is the way the world is. If I compare myself with others, I will not be happy. I usually work hard on everything I value. The results don’t always reflect what I expect. I feel disappointed. If someone who doesn’t spend a lot of time in effect, this is even disappointing to me. Every lesson in life I get to learn that I already do my best. At least, I will not regret. (118)
