What?

    The institution which I served is Ping Deng elementary school located on the Yang Ming mountain. We tutored each student and designed some games for them to learn English. During the courses, we found that not all students are willing to learn English. And we found that some students don’t know how to keep their temper. If we demand them to pay attention to the class, they will get impatience. We tried to design the homework paper for them. They can do that in the class. We decreased the time of teaching otherwise they will feel bored.

So what?

    For the sake of appealing to the students learning, we gave them points if they conduct themselves well. They could exchange points for presents we prepared for them, so they paid more attention on the courses. We realized that if we know the methods and pay more patience for them we can easily manage them. In the beginning, we didn’t treat them so strict; however, they did not obey our order. They thought that we were just their older brothers and sisters. So we changed the treatment for them. Some strict tone make them tense their nerve and listen to our order earnestly. Most time we still treated them like a little kid.

Now what?

    The children we taught are just six or seven years old. In my opinion, for them, it’s a very important period in learning. We must give them appropriate concept and proper attitude. We should also encourage them to do the correct things and make them grow. In my opinion, a good teacher not just teaches knowledge. A good teacher should also teach them how to be a polite person and how to treat your emotion problem. We should also give them some advices about future and talk to them to make them happy. I like kids. I respect every kid. I hope that I can give them a good education.
