  • What do I do in the service course and what I see?

At the beginning, I try to introduce me to students and also try to understand students. After we know each other, I intend to teach my student who name Howard to recognize the letters of the alphabet. He is very Hardworking. When I teach him, I found that I need to pay more patience and slow down my steps so that Howard can learn very well. Actually, we have to encourage kids, so they can have more confidence to study English.

  • After the service course, what do I learn? Does this course influence me?

After I taught them several weeks, I have learned something from students. For example, I found that they love to express their opinion and like to answer the questions. Learning English should be like this attitude. Nowadays, learning English become a required language in this generation.
If I want to be an English teacher in the future, I consider that this service course can make me have more experience to teach students.

  • Does this course change me? How does this experience affect my concept?

After I do this service course, I learn more experience about how to get along with children. From this service course, I try to prepare the teaching materials. I found that prepare teaching materials is not an easy things because I have to worry about children’s preference. The reason is that children love to focus on interesting things, so I have to design interesting teaching materials to attract children’s attention. Hence, they can have more enthusiasm to learn English. Now, I try to familiarize myself with children so that I may not have generation gap with children.
However, I have changed my stereotype about service course. In the past, I usually consider that this activity is no use for me and it wastes my time, but I do not think so now. In the future, I think that teaching students is not a hard thing because I have learned a skill about how to get along with children.
