My last weekend

Last Saturday, I had a terrific afternoon tea with my best friends in high school . We haven’t seen each other since this semester. We really missed each other a lot. All of my friends study in different universities and even one of a girl is in another county. For students, there were usually lots of classes should take at school and everyone became more busy in the second years of university so it was not easy for us to get together. We talked a lot and took pictures during the meal. We all felt cheerful and we shared everything that happened in the past days. We thought of the interesting memories we had in high school and laugh happily. But happy times passed extremely fast. We felt sad when we found the sky got darker and darker. It made us to take notice of the time and we should went back home respective. We decided to meet as often as possible before saying goodbye to each other.
In order to celebrate grandmother’s eighty years old birthday, father took us to a special restaurant last Sunday. The restaurant was built as a yurt. And to our surprise, there were even goats eating straws outside the yurt. Because Christmas is around the corner, there was a big Santa Claus standing by the door of the yurt. And there was also decorated by many small Christmas trees just like the other stores and houses did on our way to the restaurant. We saw a lot of Mongolia pictures and penmanship were hung on the wall at our first sight when entered the yurt. We had chafing dishes and the most excited thing was that we could take any kind of desserts we like by ourselves. The food there was delicious. In the middle of the restaurant was a little platform. A singer and my family sang the “Happy birthday to you” song for grandmother when grandma was cutting her birthday cake. After we finished the meal, it was about time to went back home. The waiter gave both my brother and I some Christmas candy before we left the restaurant. It was a nice day and all of my family members were happy on that day. And I felt wonderful last weekend.
