　　I am not the kind of person who easily gets angry; I will do my best to endure. There is one type of person that I really dislike: cannot finish the work that he or she promises me, otherwise they should not promise me. Whatever the work is in the school, the English Department, or the company, it is the sense of responsibility. They can tell me that they cannot do, I will teach them or give it to another

　　One of my cadres is like that kind of person, I lost my wool totally. We were friends before, but now I know that I cannot tell a lie to anybody including me that I will not treat her like a true friend. If we are friends, she will not do this to me. I have to admit that it is my fault to make her be my cadre at the beginning; if the time can be back, I will not make this choice for her and me.

The Best Food for Summer

I think the best food for summer is ice cream undoubtedly. I very like eat ice cream in summer. For me, it is a very horrible thing if summer without ice cream. Yesterday, my mother and I go to a store and buy the ice cream. We buy two large barrels ice cream. The flavor of the ice cream one is mango and the other one is strawberry with milk. Although I very like to eat chocolate; I do not like eat the ice cream with the chocolate flavor. I know this is a very strange thing, but I just do not know the reason. I hope I can pass all the subjects in this semester so that I can enjoy my summer vacation with my favorite food in summer- Ice cream!

Review on The Truth about the Attack on a Taiwan Fishing Boat

I saw this article in network. This is a news network and it report a lot important news. On May 9, the Taiwan fishing boat ­Guang Da Xing No. 28 was fired upon by a Philippine government ship, crippling the boat's engine and causing the death of one man. The two sides discussed the incident for several days, at the end of which the ROC government resolutely refused to accept the Philippines’ equivocal and inadequate response to the ROC demand for a formal apology. This is a news which shocked whole Taiwan. The Taiwan fishing boat ­Guang Da Xing No. 28 was fired upon by a Philippine government ship, but the thing which makes Taiwanese people angry is the Philippine government does not give us a formal apology. The Philippine government even act innocent and let the international media think Taiwan is deliberately to be hard on Philippine. The second paragraph said after two weeks of turmoil, on May 21 the Philippines president expressed his willingness for the Philippines to engage in fishing negotiations with Taiwan. The two sides need to maintain a rational, peaceful attitude and return the matter to diplomatic channels, to bring this controversy to a close with all possible speed. The last two paragraphs of this article wrote the details of this event including the process of this event and how much benefits from Guang Da Xing No. 28 to Taiwan. After reading this article, I really hope the Philippine government can give us a formal apology, otherwise, is too unfair to the fisherman who died in this incident unfortunately.

Two Movie Reflections

I very like to see the movie. Recently, I saw the two movies and they both very impressive me. One is a musical movie- Les Miserables and the other one is Life Of Pi.

Les Miserables
Les Miserables is talking about a story set in France 19^th century, and consist of people in each social level. Although, haven’t read Hugo’s novel yet, the story in this movie is still attracted me a lot. I love its historical story, touching music and sacrifices for love. I also see the tricky destiny between the characters try their best in the society, and I feel sorrow for them. This is a tragedy but still hopeful. The story without normal romantic but full of true love. Although Someone saw this movie may full asleep, my sister and I will not. Because we realize the touching part in this movie, if you do not understand you may think this movie is boring. It will be the best musical movie which I have ever seen.
Life of Pi
“Pi” for some people it may just be the numbers to calculate the area for a circle, but for Piscine Patel, it is a long story of his life. When Pi got on the lifeboat because of the crash of the ship, that moment was the moment that started “a life of pi”. I do not believe that Pi actually survived with the animals. However, I believe that Pi actually survived first by the cook, his mom, and the sailor, and then survived by himself. Richard Parker may represent his wildness and his brutal side in order to survive. However, he believes in several religions himself, so he started to have the internal conflict with himself in order to control that wildness. In the end, when Richard Parker left and head on into the wood, I believe is because Pi does not need his brutal side anymore so that is why it leaves Pi and disappeared forever in his life. We born in this word, have many things cannot follow our mind. Pi is forced, but he in order to survive. I think this movie make by Ann Lee who is an international director wants to tell us: “The reality is our biggest enemy in many times.”

About My Recent Life

The final exam is coming. I very nervous and my lifestyle is serious irregular. I could not sleep every night but in the daytime I will in a daze. Sleeping is very important. I very worry about my serious irregular lifestyle will affect my exam grade. I want to all pass so that I can enjoy my summer vacation. In this summer vacation, I want to go to Japan again. It makes me very excited. I want to buy a lot of gifts and visit a lot of place. Japan is one of my favorite countries; I very appreciate their culture. I very look forward to go to Japan again. Although I study in English department, and I think my English is not very well I still want to strengthen my English ability. I have only one year in college; I think I should plan my future. I do not want to be a person who waste the time and do nothing everyday. Recently I read a report in the network; it is talk about the director Ann Lee. It said: Ann Lee is back! The director returned to Taiwan on the eve of Mother’s Day, shortly after winning his second Oscar, this one for his direction of Life of Pi. Here to celebrate his mother’s 88th birthday, he was also honored by President Ma Ying-jeou with an Order of the Brilliant Star, first class. Welcomed everywhere by film fans and the media, the amiable and accommodating Lee also took part in an international press conference and two symposia while he was here. A shy man, Lee speaks from the heart, his words bringing a warm, positive energy to Taiwan. Lee’s dramatic career turnaround from struggling to celebrated artist makes for an exceptionally uplifting tale. The young Lee twice failed the university entrance exams and his father, a school principal, disapproved of his decision to study theater. A university student at one of the symposia touched on this history, mentioned that he too was struggling with apparent failure, and asked Lee’s advice on how to cope. Ann Lee is my appreciate director, he is very successful. After reading this report, I realize someone who is very successful also feel doubtful on their future. This report give me an encouragement; I think seize the present is the most important!

My experience of rearing a cat

Cats are very peculiar animals. If there is no love and time for you taking care of your cats, I do not recommend you to rear one. Because cats are naturally inclined to climb and scurry, they might be destroyed something one day, such as pulling things out of your trash can, grabbing your favorite sofa or clothes, and so on. If you want to rear a cat, you must think twice.

According to my experience, rearing a kitten is very difficult. One day, my father, my younger brother and I went to a pet shop, and the shop owner was my father’s best friend. He called my father and said” My neighbor’s cat gave birth five kittens, and I remembered that your children wanted to have a pet with them, would you come and have a look?” Then, my father took me and my brother to the pet shop. When I walked into the pet shop, there was a kitten running in front of me and kept dawdling my feet, it seems like kitten loved me and wanted to play with me. Without hesitated, I told me father immediately that I just wanted this kitten. Two days later, I brought kitten home and gave it a name, Money. He began to tremble with his lovely eye looking at me. I used the warm water to wipe his body and used a towel to wrap up his body, then, he stopped tremble and I put him into a paper box with my clothes. Day after day, I kept feeding milk to kitten Money three times a day and played with him for whole day. In addition to feeding and playing, there are so many things need to pay attention. For example, cleaning the cat’s excreta box to keep the box clean, paying attention to kitten’s health, and checking the cat’s ears, eyes, and anus clean or not. Would kitten close to person? Would kitten attack people? There were so many things that we needed to care about.

Cats are very independent and proud. In general, if you lived with a cat, you would feel cohabiting with someone. Unlike dogs, there would be a level of master and servant, so you need more patience to your cat. Cats unlike dogs could educate or train easily. If you bring your dog out for a walk, you can let the dog follow your pace and routes. However, cats are not necessarily that she would jump to high place and look around according to their own preferences. Therefore, it is best to take your cat to a fixed place, such as a park or balcony, let it have fun in there. I think the most important part is training your cat must in his/her childhood. Because, after cats growth up to an adult, training your cat would be difficult, and you must make sure you following the table drills, and then, time would change the stereotypes of your cat’s behavior. As 1 mentioned before that cats are very independent, so they did not like people to hold them. But, when cats were young, you could often hold them and let cats become accustomed, as well as to help grooming and bathing. Thus, cats would less likely to exclusion.

To conclusion, rearing a cat needs lots of love, lots of time, and lots of patience. You need to pay attention many things, but all the tired and difficult would disappear after you see your cat giving you a lovely face. I love my cat, and he is my best friend in home. No matter what happened, he will always stand by me.

The Rose Princess

Long times ago, there was a princess; she was the daughter of Persephone alone.  Because she was the protector of rose, we called her Rose Princess.  She is the most beautiful goddess, even the Venus can’t compare with Rose.
     One day, Zeus noticed Rose’s beauty, and he fell in love with her. As a result; Zeus set a trick, in order to be the owner of the Rose Princess.
     Rose was imprisoned alone in the heaven of garden－Wonder, where was full of rose and all the wonderful thing in there.  Zeus can only imprison Rose’ body, but he can’t imprison Rose’s soul.
    Zeus gave anything what he can give to her, but only one thing he can’t give to her－Freedom what Rose most wants.  Rose knew that Zeus was crush on her beauty, not the inside of Rose.  She was waiting for someone to rescue her from the prison, but Zeus was the supreme ruler of the goddess no one could defeat him.  For all that, Rose still kept hopeful about her future; Zeus can’t predict the future and resist the destiny even though he was the greatest ruler.

    The story of Rose Princess spread all over the world, and there was a man named Jack was curious about the story of Rose is truth or fictitious.  Jack was a human; he didn’t have power so that Persephone gave a magical seed and a golden axe to him. The magical seed grow bigger and faster than other plants and it became a huge tree which can reach the heaven. When Jack found out the Rose Princess, they fell in love with each other in the first sight. He used the golden axe to cut down the chain on Wonder’s gate and went away with Rose from the prison.

    Zeus was greatly anger about the escape of Rose and threatened her that he would revenge this humiliation.  Zeus killed Jack and suspended his body on the Olympus to warn the people who want to against him.  Rose was imprisoned against in Wonder; she wanted to rescue the Jack’s life but nothing she can do.  Hera was the wife of Zeus; she was jealous of Rose.  Hera made a deal with Rose, if Rose wanted to bring Jack back to life; she should in exchange of herself.  Hera gave a poisonous red wine to Rose.   After Rose suicide, she became a red rose.  The thorn was the Hera’s cures, even she became a rose she still beautiful.  The thorn made the people who close to her would be hurt.  There were no rose with red color and thorns before Rose suicide. The employees have been demanded to clock in before they begin working. And some of the employees have also been asked that they cannot leave their company before their boss leaving the office. The system of job responsibility is more important than the system of clocking out on time in Taiwan. Guo Chi-mei suffered a stroke because he was working eighteen hours a day and sleeping just four hours. His case is sorrowfully not particular. And some cases of overwork have even been deadly in Taiwan. Although companies will be fined for breaking the rules that workers are not allowed to do more than eight hours of overtime a day, some companies still give a lot of work to let their employees to work overtime. Hard work has long been ingrained in Taiwanese society.

According to the report, “The annual working hours for Taiwanese employees eclipses many industrialized nations, according to figures from the Council of Labor Affairs (CLA) and the OECD. On average, the Taiwanese work more than two thousand hours annually; 20 percent more than their counterparts in the America or Japan and more than 35 percent longer than those in Germany.” Not only office workers, but also bus drivers, security officers, and laborers are working over eight hours a day. Obviously, Taiwanese work so hard, but why Taiwan’s economy is not growing rapidly?

I had an experience that I had worked from nine a.m. to six a.m. next morning for about two weeks. And I slept just only three or four hours a day during that working time. Although my mother asked me to go to sleep, my responsibility of the jobs forbad me to go to bed. But I had to hand in my work on time when I clock in and went to the office room. After I finished the case, my eyes and my body condition were tired and sick. And then I need to operate my eyes. And I had a sick for one whole month. I can’t speak because I can’t give off sound. In conclusion, I quitted the job for my health condition. And I cherish and protect my eyes to keep computers or televisions away because I don’t want to be a blind just for working too hard. I am still young and I can find other good jobs instead of the health killer work.

Having a good health is the most important thing because nothing we could do without a healthy condition. I hope companies and governments can take the overtime working seriously for those diligent workers. The reasons are that those hard working people need to support their families. If they without a good health, how could their family live.

Journal 3 –Special Thursday

Special Thursday

Although I didn’t read the whole content of the exam of translation, I slept early than other common days. The reason is that I was really tired and I cannot pay attention on the book. And I was nodding in front of my desk. If I blinked my eyes, my eyes cannot open immediately. So I fell asleep rapidly and sit on a chair.

However, angels came to me on Thursday. They bring me a good luck and a joyful day. Actually, I dressed up today for a lady’s date this evening. After I took the translation exam and each student finished the test, my best and lovely friends and I took many beautiful pictures with our translation teacher. Our professor is cute, kind, shy and hard-teaching. My classmates all love and thank for her. And then, Tina and I went to Mr. Mooney’s office to take some beautiful photos for the best memory with my short hair when I was a junior. Moreover, Amy and I also took wonderful pictures with our Korean teacher after we finished our final oral exam this Tuesday morning. If we not met this professor, we might give up learning the second foreign language, and we still don’t have confidence and bravery to speak Korean.

I worked on the seven-floor at library every Thursday afternoon and Friday morning. My jobs are playing DVDs for needed people, helping people who have some problems of logging in computers, where can they use printers, or broken earphones, etc. Many students come to the counter and look up films which they are interested in. But a lot of students have searched the list of movies for a long time, and they still can’t decide which film they want to watch. Therefore, they will ask me to recommend. And introducing good films is one of my favorite jobs. I will ask them that what kinds of movies do they like. And I will introduce what popular movies have been seen recently and I also recommend them that what great movies I saw before. And this Thursday, a student changed three DVDs because after I played the film, he found that the contents were not he wanted to watch. Then I recommended him to watch a Korean movie, Taegukgi. The background of Taegukgi in the period of Korean War, and tell the story of two brothers’ hard and close relationships and bromance. Each time when I see Taegukgi, I drop my tears and have blue mood whole day. After I clock out, I made a great gesture to him for asking the movie is good or not. And he feedback me a wonderful gesture! Well, I succeeded!

However, I have to hand over to another part-time worker at four-thirty. But, he didn’t come till five o’clock. My best friends and I worried about we must late when we arrived the restaurant. Finally, whe the other part-time worker came after five o’clock, we could leave and walked fast to take a bus. When we got on the bus, we found that the route doesn’t arrive to Shilin MRT Station. But luckily, we found that we can get off the unexpected station and took the MRT to the destination directly. How lucky we were!

My close friends and I had a wonderful dinner and we took a lot of terrific photos by using Tina’s new professional camera. Although we are beautiful to take pictures without making up, our skin are looking more wonderful and smooth to take photos by using her professional camera.

Feedback of V for Vendetta

I had previously written the feedback of this movie “V for Vendentta,” but I did not think of uploading to the blog and share with others. Recently, I was reviewed the reflection once again and I thought I could not rewrite a better feedback, even I re-watching the movie. So, I decided to translate the Chinese version into English and shared with others.

After watched the movie “V for Vendetta,” I thought the word “V” might contain several meanings. Firstly, V for Victims, victims means sufferers, associated with the mysterious behind V itself. Secondly, V for Vicious, vicious means evil, associated with V’s existence. There was a scene during the movie, and everyone wore a V-mask that means everyone could be V. Moreover, when everybody looked similar after wore a V-mask, no matter who you are, no matter your gender is, the high rank people would give you offenses previously without any consideration. Thirdly, V for Victory, victory means triumph, associated with everyone could be V. Because V itself was not a motif, he was an ideal. As long as you dare to come out facing the distorting government, no matter who you are, and you would be the hero behind the scenes. Finally, I think the movie would let people feel upset not the emotional plot, but people united as a group fighting for the freedom. It is a kind of  the magnificent beauty!

My plan for the coming summer break

     Happy summer vacation is coming, and I am so excited about the summer break. During this summer break, I plan to do three important things: finish the TOEIC test, strive for an opportunity of business internship, and adapt to my new part-time job.

     To pass the TOEIC test, I tried to do practices in my daily life. For example, listen to the ICRT radio program in free time, write the textbook’s simulation questions, and keep asking my friends to conversation with me in English. Hope I can pass the TOEIC test in the summer break, and keep increase my English ability as much as I could.

     To strive for an opportunity of business internship, I have chosen three businesses for reference. The first business internship I chose the Taipei City Hospital, because last summer vacation I had already participated the internship, which was helped hospital to do some simple executive jobs, such as finding patients to complete questionnaires, counting the results of questionnaires, and so on. The second business internship I chose the insurance company, because I had already learned some professional knowledge and selling skills. Under my mother’s influence, I am tempted to be professional as my mother and help others planning their backup for emergency. The last business internship I chose the wellness company, Melaleuca. It is an eco-friendly supermarket from America, and it sells healthy and non-toxic products to make the environment better. I love the declaration of this company “Helping ordinary people achieve the objectives, creating a bright future together.”

From April 23th until now, I have been working for this company for almost three months. After three month’s effort, I work as a director and member advisor now. I really enjoy the atmosphere in the team, because I can feel everyone’s sincerely compliment and encouragement. I think I will choose the third one to be my internship company.

     To adapt to my new part-time job, I would try my best. My new part-time job in summer break is working as an assistant in music classroom. My duties are helping music teachers to deal with their executive works and accompanied children practicing. I would choose this job is because I have learned piano for more than ten years, and the job is more isolated with my specialty.

     Finally, I just want to say that I cannot wait to meet my lovely summer vacation, because I could do so many things that could not do during the semester!

Review of an article “A Princess”

My classmate Nancy wrote an interesting article named “A Princess,” When it comes to a princess, most people would think a princess is beautiful, kind, assiduous and willing to help others. However, Nancy has different thoughts in the composition and really caught my eyes on the website.

In the introductory paragraph, the author briefly told us about her different opinion in the thesis statement “However, when I grow up, “princess” changes into a negative lexicon which is used to describe a spoilt female, especially a teenager, with really different personality and nature from the princess in the stories. This type of girls is also called “princess,” because they suffer from the so-called Princess Syndrome.” I agreed with the author’s opinions, because she described the idea just like what I thought before. I had a friend named Daisy, she was rich, pretty and confidence than my other friends, but she had awful personalities that made her become no friends. She was arrogant and vanity, no matter when or where, she always kept telling us how wealthy her family, how many new stuffs she got, how terrible to make a poor friend, and so on. She did not care about anything but herself. In this paragraph, I think that author give a good hook to get readers attention.

In the first supporting paragraph, the topic sentence is “I do not talk about the real princesses in the fairytales and the monarchic countries.” This sentence could let readers clearly know, the author wanted to discuss a princess not in fairytales. Then, she gave an example of her friend, Mandy. The author said “In reality, there is a “princess” beside me in the senior high school whose name is Mandy. She is also beautiful, tall, and confident but she is much unlike the princess in my ideal and childhood. What is more, her father is like a king because he is rich and powerful. She does not like to study and go to the library. Also, she never takes a broom or a mop during the clean-up time because she says only the maid does the cleaning.” In this paragraph, I think that the organization is clear and simple.

In the second supporting paragraph, the topic sentence is “Mandy is so overbearing that she looks down upon everyone.” The author gave more examples to show us what is princess syndrome and what a princess Syndrome person would be. For instance, Mandy has two followers, Amber and Nikita; some people call them M.A.N; all of them are the numbers of the dancing club; many boys like Mandy because of her appearance and she enjoys ridiculing those who are poor and not good at dancing. Because she regards herself as a princess, so she is self-centered and does not think of others. The author also mentioned about her experience “I remember that she once played a joke on a poor girl by scrawling on her books and putting fake cockroaches in her bags.” In this paragraph, I can easily understand the definition of princess syndrome that author gave.

In the third supporting paragraph, the topic sentence is “Contrastive to Snow White who has many animal friends around her, Mandy does not have any true friend.” The author compared her friend Mandy with Snow White that can make readers easier to contrast those two types of the princess. Then, the author gave more information to illustrate her topic sentence “She never treats others sincerely and enthusiastically.” The author did not think Nikita and Amber are her friends, because they just want to flatter and please her. For example, they have to do the homework for her, carry her bag, and be an accessory to her. Moreover, most her boyfriends are handsome and tall, they are dandies. It seems that their love is built on the appearance and fascination rather than devotion and affection.

In the last conclusion paragraph, the topic sentence is “In all honesty, I would rather be a confident, hard-working, and tolerant ordinary person than being a princess.” Although the author said in the introductory paragraph that she wanted to be a princess, after several comparisons, she just wanted to be an ordinary person. In author’s opinion, those girls were spoiled by their parents, friends, and boys, so they thought that they could do everything they want and nobody would blame on them. I agreed with the author, because my friend Daisy had same problems like Mandy, and I could not tolerate those behaviors happening on me. Although I have same fascinated by the princesses in fairytale like author, now I realize an ideal fairytale princess is difficult to find in reality.

A Review on “The Lu-mate”

In “The Lu-mate”, the writer Crystal Cao gives us the definition of the Lu-mate. Crystal Cao is an exchange student from China so we can know this term may specially used in China. Besides, she point out the three main features in the Lu-mate. We can have a clear understanding of the Lu-mate through this composition. It is an interesting topic because this term-the Lu-mate is never seen in Taiwan.

Although the writer provides enough of detail description, it is lack of giving examples for the three main features. This composition has clear thesis statement in the introduction paragraph and the topic sentence in the supporting paragraphs. In addition to, the obvious subject segments in the thesis statement. We still can learn and benefit from her composition. It keeps a balance among the paragraphs. The whole composition is in the equally words number.

Crystal said “The Lu-mate is a term used by people in Mainland. It is a group of people who are interested in outdoor activities.” They would be called backpacker in other places. They are tourists, but they have some different features and the different expectation from their journey. According to Crystal’s opinion, “the Lu-mates have three distinct features in common: backpacking, strong passion, and independent mind.” It gives us the obvious subject segments. And, she give us the more specially description in the following supporting paragraph.

The first feature is backpacking.”It may be easy to realize its meaning from another name” backpackers.”” said by Crystal. Crystal makes a comparison and contrary between the backpacking and the normal tourists in the first supporting paragraph. The Lu-mate won’t carry suitcase, but carry a heavy backpack. All things they need have already in their suitcase so they do not necessary to book an expensive hotel. Most of the tourists want to pay more attention to the material comforts. The Lu-mates are likely to enjoy the natural scenery rather than the material comforts, which is the difference between the Lu-mate and the normal tourist.

“Strong passion is another feature of the Lu-mate, which will give them the strength to achieve the final triumph in their journey.” Strong passion is important for the Lu-mate because without the passion, they are as same as the ordinary tourists. They need “strong” passion to face the nature hardship and make friends with other Lu-mates, otherwise; it is easily to give up the journey. Most importantly, they experience the world and pursue a meaningful life by seeing the beautiful people and scenery.

“Last but not least, an independent mind is their most unique feature. Most of them have their own thought of life. They know what exactly they want in their life, and there no drifts.” They do not have to join in a trip because they can travel by their own. They can go wherever they want to go. They do not follow the trip schedule, but they follow their voice. They can travel in a free way.

In the conclusion, Crystal summarizes the three main distinct features of the Lu-mate: backpacking, strong passion, and independent mind. Crystal also gives another name of the Lu-mate, the dream chaser. And, the relationship between the Lu-mates is temporary, but it is meaningful. There are many people in a person’s life; however, some will be a very important part of one’s life, and others will just the gust going away from one’s life The Lu-mates use their own way to explore the world. Someday in the future, I also want to be a Lu-mate, experiencing the world by myself and follow the voice in my heart without any plan.  (601,1805)

Taiwan Fisherman Killed by Philippine Coastguards

In the news, Philippine coastguard spokesman Commander Armand Balilo said that the incident occurred within Philippine territory and that the officers had a duty to stop illegal fishing. It is bullshit in my opinion.

    Our fisherman was cold-blooded murdered by Philippine government vessel in south of Taiwan. All of the people are tremendously angry in Taiwan. First, it is unreasonable, because our fisherman did not do anything illegal to the Philippine coastguards. And moreover, the Philippine government state: “Taiwan fisherman tried to attack our coastguard.”  It is ridiculous, as our fisherman did not have any single weapon in the fishing boat. They could not touch the coastguards a little. The Philippine government told a nasty lie in front of the whole world. Shame on the Philippine government. On the other hand, our government reacted to this issue too slowly. We the people were disappointed to the government too. Review of Hamlet

The play of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark is a tragedy by William Shakespeare. It regards as one of the best tragedy in the English literature. The story is about prince Hamlet want to revenge for his father. The story began with a hush and dark night. The guard got shock to see the dead king ghost and told Horatio. In the second night, they came to see the ghost again and the ghost told them:” I was murdered by your uncle, Claudius. The prince Hamlet swears to kill, his uncle, the king Claudius. Eventually, Gertrude, Claudius, Laertes, and Hamlet are all dead. And Fortinbras, prince of Norway, gave the last honor for Prince Hamlet.

Through the study of the play Hamlet, I have learned that I should strive to find a balance between my desire to act and react immediately and my desire to think before and consider the all possibilities before acting. As shown through the tragic death of Hamlet, a person who spends too much time thinking and asking may never be able achieve his purpose. However, as Hamlet said, a person who acts without rational thought is no different from a beast.

The last of the Mohicans

The last of the Mohicans is a historical movie. It is warfare between French and Native Americans. In the movie The Last of the Mohicans, there is a lot of example between race and cultures .One example is the Native Americans and the Europeans language, action and clothing. We can easily see this from watching the film. Especially, the misleading of language is easy to conflict, no matter where we are. The unfamiliar action and clothing are easy to regard as enemy. Another different is the way they combat in a war. The Europeans are more formal and take turns firing back. On the other hand the Native Americans is tricky to Fight in warfare, they had a better advantage, because the Europeans did not have experience fighting with a whole jungles and trees in the middle of the battle field. Eventually, there were differences between the French and British. Even though both European groups lived on the same area, they had different beliefs. In the finally scene, Magua killed Uncars and dropped his body into the canyon. And then Alice jumped into the canyon as well. This was my most impressed scene in this film.

Blaze and Aqua

My name is Blaze. No matter who you are, you should be aware of me. Because I am the king of the nature, I can burn anything down. However, I do not know I have this god gift when I was a kid. I realize I am extremely dangerous. Once a time, I play with my friends in school. During the game time, I using my strong fire kill all my friends. When I get too much happy, my dangerous power will release. I cannot control. It is my natural ability. Since this time, I became very depressed. I always get along with myself. I have no friend anymore; cause them afraid of my fatal power of fire. Everyone treats me like a devil. But the thing significantly changes, when I meet my girlfriend, aqua. She is a pretty girl. I think so. I know her due to a funny thing. One day I hang around in the park. I feel bored and want to do something, and then I piss in a big pond. When I was pee pee, I feel very happy. So my piss is on fire. Aqua saw something is burning. She uses his natural ability to put out the fire. We both stunned, because his ability of water gush on my face and little brother. A few second later, we are laughing so hard each other. We are surprise and chat about ourselves. Unexpectedly, we have some similarity in unusual ability and situation. We are no longer lonely now. Afterward we are lovers. When I get too much happy and on fire, she always calms me down by using his ability of water. When she feels bad and cry, I can give her my warm heart. We born to this way. We are the perfect couple.

Review of Bad Effects of the Smartphone

My friend Victor wrote this interesting topic, because people usually think Smartphone is fine and benefic. But the author has some different opinions in the essay. It really attract my attention in I say you say web.

 In the introductory paragraph, the author briefly shows about the benefit of the Internet service on the Smartphone. The text message we send is free now. “However” is a good transition word to help reader turn to another point of view in this essay. The author use a very precise vocabulary “convenient” to describe the life when we have smart phone, but at the last sentence in the introductory paragraph, the author show his negative opinion and this is the theses statement. I see some words sticking together such as hasbecome, thepersonal, and forfree. I also find a grammatical problem in the sentence. It is the SVA, subject verb agreement, in the sentence, “it also brings some negative effects.”

    In the first paragraph, the topic sentence is “people may become addicted to their cell phone.” In my opinion, “addicted” is a nice adjective vocabulary to describe people crazy about the Smartphone. The author uses a quotation, which is a research report of a famous university. The good point of the quotation is that it shows numbers of percentage, as numbers are persuasive in a research report. I see some words getting together such as universityannounced and reportshowing. The organization of the first paragraph is simple and clear to use a persuasive quotation to convince people.

    In the second paragraph, the topic sentence is “children don’t play with others but only keep using the Smartphone.” The author uses conjunction word “because” to explain to us how the children influence by the Smartphone. In the end of second paragraph, the author warns the children who play games too much will not only hurt eyes but also lose social capability. I see some words getting together such as todownload and thesmartphone.

    In the third paragraph, the topic sentence is “the Smartphone may intervene the communication between people.” The author use a good vocabulary “intervene” to describe the communication between is interrupted by Smartphone. And the “intervene” is also the core of third paragraph. The author takes himself for example. He put a story about how a group of friends was intervened by the Smartphone. Eventually, in third paragraph, the author tells us his broken-hearted mood. I find some words getting together such as offriends and thatthey.

    In the conclusion paragraph, this paragraph of organization is a little bit strange. I think “it is not polite...learn effectively in class” is the fourth paragraph. And the conclusion paragraph is “It is true…be replaced by the Smartphone. In the fourth paragraph, the topic sentence is “it’s not polite when we use the Smartphone in some official occasions.” The author also gives us a story to support his idea. Students cannot learn effectively in class, when they using the Smartphone. I find some words getting together such as thesmartphonewhen, lecturingis, affectionscan, and thesmartphone. In the real conclusion paragraph, the author thinks the Smartphone bring us extremely convenient life, but why not we put down our Smartphone to be with our friends, family, and even our love. I am glad to have the same belief with author, Victor.
