5: A Movie “A Family Man” Reflection
In our daily life,
there are always many choices. Some people can satisfy themselves easily. On the other hand, some people cannot satisfy themselves
only by one choice and they want to gain more and more choices to satisfy themselves.
Then, they don’t know how to keep a balance.
In
the movie, the main character’s name is called Jack. 13 years ago, he chose his
work, said goodbye to his girlfriend Kate and promised her that he will come
back after a year. After few years, he didn’t realize his promise and he succeeded.
He became rich and he forgot his original intention. He even tried to forget
Kate.
One Christmas Eve, he met a guy and
slept with a dream. In the dream, he and Kate were husband and wife and had two
kids. At the beginning, he tried to resist this relation and wanted to come
back to his truth life. He gradually liked this life and understood some principle. Although they were not rich,
they lived with happiness. Finally, he came back to his truth life. He wanted to
pursue Kate again but everything was too late.
No
matter what dream we want to realize, we do not forget our original intention.
Life cannot come back again. Thus, we do not miss something. I know a proverb says,” A
contented mind is a perpetual feast.” Trying to cherish
everything in our life is very important and we will have a wonderful life.
