Journal 4: After Reading “Pride and Prejudice”

In this book, I learn many things. If people are proud of themselves, they would look down or criticize other people. If these things happen, there is a deep generation gap between two people, such as Mr. Darcy and Miss Elizabeth.

In the beginning of the story, Mr. Darcy and Miss Elizabeth disapproved each other. Miss Elizabeth thought that Mr. Darcy was too proud. She always had prejudice about people of noble birth. She thought that she could never have any connection with Mr. Darcy. The more often Miss Elizabeth saw Mr. Darcy, the more loathing they felt toward each other. As time goes by, they realized their real feelings and they accepted each other. They fell in love with each other. They didn’t hate each other. The story ends up with Mr. Darcy and Miss Elizabeth having a wonderful marriage.

I think that people cannot judge one people by first sight. Each one should realize other people well before commenting on them. A pride and a prejudice always make people feel bad on other people. This book tells us how terrible a pride and a prejudice are. It is a great book which I have ever read. I like the story of a pride and a prejudice. It teaches me many things and touches my heart.
