Playing Badminton or Walking?

     Which sport is more suitable for you, badminton or walking? Exercise is very important to our health; for example, playing badminton and walking are beneficial to our health in many ways. If you have to choose one of them, you need to know what’s the difference between them on the aspects of cost, effect, and mind.
 If you play badminton, you’ll spend much more money than walking because you have to rent a place, which costs at least NT$300. And if you don’t want to spend money, you need to find an indoor court or a place that is not affected by the wind. But you don’t have to spend any money on walking, and you can walk everywhere.
However, playing badminton consumes a lot of calories. You have to shuttle run, jump, and wield your racket. But walking just consumes a few calories because it’s not a violent exercise.
     Besides, walking can relax your mind because you can listen to music, talk to friends or think something while you’re walking. But you may not do so when you are playing badminton because it’s competitive and intense. You need to focus on your sport skill to beat out the opponent.
     In sum, these exercises are useful to keep our health, and you can choose an exercise depending on your financial situation, physical strength, and your mind.
