According this article I think foreign students especially Chinese students should aware of some paper writing skills.

First is “always put main idea sentence in the beginning of each paragraph”. Although our culture teach us writing is art, we may use some skill to make our essay beautiful just like put main idea sentence in the last of each paragraph. But in western writing style, we have to state main idea clearly and directly at the beginning of each paragraph, and let everyone knows what you are talking about. That is important.

Second is“ you should talk something about your own opinion in your article”. Chinese students always think if we want our idea more powerful, we should put other’s powerful thinking in our essay. Finally, our article is full of other’s opinion, but nothing about ours. We should know when we write some essays, the most important thing is to mention about our own thought. That is our article, we may use other’s thought to stress our idea, but we should still talking something about own. Remember, no matter how beautiful and powerful our article is, an article without own opinion, that is still a bad article.
