Being an Independent Person

Beginning the junior high school period, I found that I am a dependent person, not completing things by myself. When I wanted to go to the restroom which is near by my classroom or teacher’s office, I would ask for my friend to company me. Furthermore, I can’t walk within the passage without my friends’ company. Sometimes I think I, myself am so incredible that I can’t believe it. Almost of my friends told me that I should be getting more and more independent. When I was a senior high school student, the same thing still occurs. I did not change the bad habit anyone. Until now, I am a college student; I have conquered the mental obstacle. Sometimes I deal with students’ affair in office, taking bus without my friends’ company, and go window shopping alone. Everyone is in a different situation. I think why people are independent have a critical reason on their growth background. On one hand, take me for example; my family consists of six people. There are my father, mother, two sisters and a brother. As a child, we, four children played together, have the same habits in common and take care about each other. Frankly to say, we can’t live without each other. However, everyone has their individual life; we are not able to be together all the time. Accordingly, I am not accustomed to do things by on person. On the other hand, Jessica is the only one child in her family. From childhood, she had no other sisters or brothers played with her. Everything needed to be done by her. She seems to be accustomed to be an independent person. Growth background is the most relative key to be an independent person. It will change slowly by continual practicing again and again. Let us be an independent person.
