The Two Short Stories

I read a short story yesterday. It was about an old farmer and an eagle. The story began in a forest. One day, the old farmer found that there was an eagle captured in a trap. The farmer felt sorry for the eagle so he set it free without noticed. Few days later, the old farmer was sitting under a fence to take a rest after he finished his work from the field. The eagle saw him and then flew toward to the old farmer. It scratched his hat and flew away from the fence. The old farmer ran after the eagle wanted to get his hat back. Finally the eagle threw away the hat. The farmer picked it up quickly and returned to the same place which he had been sitting down. The fence was collapsed and fallen to the ground. Soon he realized that was the eagle saved him from the danger of the collapsed fence. The story told us that if we helped people and the people who had received our help might repay the kindness for us. Nowadays, there are a lot of people served as volunteers. They are willing to help those people who were in difficulties without any paid to do it. We might not able to do the same great things as the volunteers or help the poor people timely, but there is still some small assistance we can give in our daily life. Giving our seat to the disable person or the elder must be the easiest thing for us to do. And I believe people will do the same things to my grandparents or my parents when they become old one day.
Here was another short story I had read. A deer was chasing by a hunter so it entered a cave and hid behind a big rock. But unfortunately, the deer did not know that the cave was belonged to a lion. The lion felt so happy to see the prey appeared right in front of him. He seized the deer unexpectedly and snapped it soon. In my opinion, we usually make decision in a hurry without thinking clearly when faced to the trouble at present. We might behavior like the deer and dropped into another trap. So, in order not to leave regrets, we should think it twice before we are making a decision.
