Yes Man

It is a inspirational film about a banker, Carl, who was divorced and miserable. He is a lonely man with low self-esteem and he can't find the way to lift himself out of this depression because he automatically says no to any question, request, and offer which comes to him. When he meets by a chance his old friend, Nick, and he is convinced to participate of a self-help program called "Yes Man"in which participants are urged to say "yes" to new situations, and leaving the negativism aside. Carl misunderstands the concept and says "yes" to every question; Carl becomes a "yes man"for a time with both pleasant and unpleasant results, and each"Yes"led unexpectedly to his positive experiences.Saying"Yes" immediately does not seem to make a difference for Carl. Carl ends up giving a ride and all of his money to Homeless Guy. With his cell phone dead and his car empty on gas, Carl ventures miles to a gas station where he meets free-spirited scooter girl Allison. Allison gives Carl a ride, and leaves an indelible mark on his heart. His life completely changes with his new attitude.
This is my first time to watch the film which is starring by Jim Carrey and it doesn't disappoint me because it's a comedy which is sensible and meaningful, even though it is very simple and is following the same basic genre comedy structure which I have seen. I am similar with Carl becauseI say no more than yes. Many of us have had our lives changed, either by saying"Yes"or by having someone say "Yes"to us.

I always say"No"because I am used to thinking many bad results in the circumstance of saying yes. After watching this film, I learned that if I always take things seriously, I will never make the first move.So I should be more outgoing and I should take more risks and obviously, saying "yes" to everything can't always end well. But I found some wisdom in the movie — that saying yes opens ourself to new people, opportunities, and experiences we never thought possible.Maybe we should give ourself a chance to say"yes".To sum up, it really a film which I can learn many things from it.
