Euthanasia

        Euthanasia has been a controversial issue for a long time. The supporters and the opponents have different views on this issue.I am a supporter to euthanasia because I think that  if I get a terminal illness, I would like to choose euthanasia to finish my life. The The struggle with death must be a hardship and I heard that many patients who are suffering from a terminal illness have a problem with body disorder; Many people would feel that they lose their dignity because their many physiological requirements  have to do by others helps, such us dealing with excretion.In addition,a person who has ability to make a conscious decision to die and ask for help to do this is completely out of voluntary ; No one is forced to euthanasia.It is a right of human to choose their life and shouldn't be forbidden.

         Euthanasia now is legal in Netherlands, Belgium, Canada, Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland and the United States, etc. According to statistics, there were 1432 people who accepted euthanasia in Belgium last year; Belgium is the second nation after Netherlands which makes euthanasia legal. One of euthanasia case which is impressed me is that there is a girl, Nancy Verhelst, who is 44 years old and she has suffered from sex discrimination by her family since she was born. She had started to inject androgen since 2009 then had mastectomy and penile implant surgery in the following, however, these surgery were not successful as she thought; she regarded herself as a monster and fell in intolerable mental distress. Finally, she had euthanasia after mental treatments and appraisals during six months; the doctor said that she was dead in completely peacefully. It is a sorrow case and I think that fortunately, euthanasia is legal in her country, if it is not legal, she will live in pain at rest of her life.

         It is a hardship to many people to live in the world. Moreover, it is not a bad way to finish our hardship and not everyone can use this way; the applicants should be over the age of 18 and an adult who is conscious to apply for many times.
