The activist says that there are so many problems about the fourth nuclear plant in Taiwan including the location, circumstance, and natural disasters. The most important of all, Taiwan use the outdated geological information to build the nuclear plant. The seismic coefficient, an indicator of a structure’s ability to withstand an earthquake is too low, also.

    Kikuchi, the Japanese activist, He said that the nuclear plant’s safety inspection group failed to see the real problems. But Taipower said that was not appropriate that a foreigner to join local events. So Taipower rejected the suggestion given by Kikuchi. Taipower says that it will be fine, but the truth still remains a mystery.

    I think the nuclear power plant has both advantages and disadvantages. To me, I do not want to live in a dangerous life, so I object to build the fourth power plant. I think the radiation is really horrible once the power plant explode or destroy by the natural disasters. I still remember the Chernobyl disaster and Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster. These incidents are shocking so more and more people misgivings about the nuclear power plant not only in Taiwan but whole world.

    Nuclear power plant is dangerous and unsafe. People may get some unusual disease or cancer because of the radiation and nuclear leak. And once nuclear leak and the radiation distribute, it will last a long time even the next century. People in the next generation may also be affected by the radiation. Their children may also be deformity. So the unclear is so horrible. We must stop operating and using it.

    There is not only unclear power can produce electricity for us to use. We can choose safer way to produce the electricity including wind power station, Fossil-fuel power station. But I think the safest and environmentally friendly is solar power energy. We can build more power tower to produce the electricity and energy we want. I think the solar power energy will be the best way to produce electricity and it’s the safest way. We do not need to worry about live in the dangerous life.
