A Terrible News I Saw Recently

Few days ago, in the New Taipei City a old man kills his wife by a very cruel way, not because he does not love his wife. On the contrary, he loves his wife very much. The old man could not heart to see his beloved wife suffering from illness for a long time, but also worried about he is too old to take care his wife. At the result, he took a knife and slashed his wife’s neck 3 to 5 times. He even use the hammer knock his wife’s head. He made his wife’s throat almost broken and he also cut his wrist and throat, wanted to die with his wife. When the police arrived he shouted do not save me! Let me accompany with my wife and he called his wife’s name continuous. This couple married nearly five decades, the relationship between them is very well. Their daughter said, she never seen her father ranted at her mother, her father always very tender to care her mother. When her mother confined in bed, her father cook by himself, and fed her mother carefully. The daughter said, dad is really love mom! How could this happen! She said, her father is a retiring solider because her mother  like to travel, he take out most of his saving to take her mother tour everywhere. This news is really impressived me. I cannot imagine the old man has how deep love for his wife. But the surprising thing is, this kind of case is not the first time happened in Taiwan. According to the department of statistics, there are 2.6 million elderly in Taiwan and many elderly people do not live with their families. The expert advice, if the child cannot take care their parents, they should call their parents often and visit them with their grandchildren, let the parent are not alone. This is a sad and heavy news. We should pay more attention to other people, especially for our families and let these regrets news do not happen again.
