Reflection on Julia T. Wood’s The Can-Do Discourse and Young Women's Anticipations of Future

    The main idea in this article is that it is extremely difficult for a woman to being both a career woman and a housewife. In my opinion, I considered that young ladies can imagine their future but they shall not beautify their future too much. It is impossible that all of us will merry good husband who will share the housework and support us to have a job. Male chauvinisms think that woman shall stay at home and take care of children. For example, if a young lady marries someone who is a male chauvinism then it is really hard and tough for her to have a job. But I believe that not all of the men or the partner in the marriage are bad or do not want to share the housework. There are still some men who are willing to support their wife to have a job. Some men even want to be a house husband! I think the situation depends on who we marry and the personality the person has!!!(177)
