A movie named "The Ugly Truth"

I have ever seen a movie named “The Ugly Truth”. This is a very funny movie and it talks about the viewpoint and ideas about relationships between men and women. After watching this movie, I found that there are actually so many differences between men and women. Well, most people think that men have more power and better abilities than women, for example, in my family, all the family members have to respect my grandfather and my father, including my mother. And if we want to do something or make an important decision, we have to get their permission. The leader of a family or a country is always a man, not a woman. In fact, I think that the obvious differences between men and women are personalities and lifestyles.

Women are usually more sensitive and careful than men. Take relationships for an example, it is quite for a women to get angry when her boyfriend talks to other girls and women like to care about something unimportant and always lack sense of safety. However, when a man is in a relationship, he will not care that his girlfriend talks to other boys and even hang out with them. Because men think that a woman who is in a relationship should not give up the chance to make friends and men often trust their girlfriends.

Next, let’s talk about lifestyles. In Taiwan, men like to watch news and movies; however, women and girls in Taiwan love to watch Korean soap operas and worship some Korean and Japanese idols and singers. This is very weird, because these Korean and Japanese Idols have strong makeup on their faces and they sometimes wear skirts. I really do not know why so many women and girls in Taiwan are so crazy about them. I am not critical and I just feel confused. Besides, when going out, if a man says that he is ready to go out, it means that he is really ready to go, but when a woman says she is ready to go out, it actually means that she will be ready to go out, and then she starts finding her earrings and putting her makeup. And the other difference of lifestyle between men and women is about driving. Men are gifted to have sense of direction, but sometimes they still get lost in unfamiliar surroundings. Interestingly, when men get lost, they will not stop and ask others for directions, but women are different from men, they will stop driving and search for help. By the way, I found that women love to chat on the phone very much.

further, men use telephone to send short message to their friends, but women often call their friends and keep chatting for more than one or two hours. My mom always does that. These are my thoughts and ideas about the difference between men and women. By the way, I still have to recommend the movie” The Ugly Truth”. Although it is a comedy, the director uses the relaxed and humor way to present the mysterious relationship between men and women and maybe the move can change everybody’s thoughts and ideas and make the linker between men and women better.
