Do you agree the death penalty?

Do you agree with having the death penalty? If your loved one is the condemned person, would you still approve having the death penalty? Nowadays, the death penalty becomes the hot topic in the world. Some people think life is the most important in this world, and they oppose the death penalty. To me, however, the condemned person also deprive the others life. Therefore, I totally agree with having the death penalty. Ibelieve that in an equal world like we have now, people should pay an equal price for their crimes. I remember that when I was in junior high school, there was a villainous convict named Jin-Shin Chen. He did many crimes such as kidnapping, murder, holding hostages and rape in Taiwan. In that time, as long as he was not arrested, people felt afraid when they were outside. Until polices arrested the Jin-Shin Chen the citizens felt secured. So, if the death penalty is abolished, the citizens' securities may be threatened by criminals. As long as criminals were not sentenced to death, they may escape from the prison, and threaten other people once again.
