The First Business In My Life

I stayed at home, got up late everyday and watched the television all day in my winter vacation. However, I get the first business in my life. My interest is making handcrafts. The beginning of the winter vacation, my friend made a business with me. She told me to make a tiger, a snake, a rabbit, a horse, a chicken and a popular cartoon’s character – Patrick Star for her. These works were regarded as New Year’s presents to her friends and family. I promised her and started preparing materials. I used the Internet to search instructions and brought a lot of plastic and beautiful pearls. When I prepared whole materials that I needed, I started making works. At first, I made the tiger. I thought the famous Disney cartoon character – Tigger is very cute, so I decided to make it. To my happiness, I completed it smoothly. Second, I decided to make the horse. It was made of purple and pink pearls. It was looked very bijou. However, when I made the horse’s feet, I couldn’t understand the instruction. I had no idea how to make those feet. I thought the steps again and again. Finally, I wrote new steps and made new shape of feet by myself. How smart I am! Afterward, I made the rabbit. This rabbit will send to a boy. Therefore, I used blue pearls to make it. I thought the boy will like this color. When I completed the rabbit, I kept on making the snake. In these works, I liked this snake very much. Although the snake was also bijou, it was like an alive creature. It really caught my heart. However, when I completed the next works – the chicken, I felt really frustrated. It was because that chicken was not looked like a chicken unless I looked it very narrowly. I felt very embarrassed for my friend. Fortunately, my friend thought the chicken was also cute and accepted it. Finally, I started making the Patrick Star. It took me more times to complete it. Its instructions were more complicated than other’s. Besides, it was also cute. This business took me about three days to complete and I earned about eight hundred dollars. I felt very happy and achieved. I hope I will have more businesses to do in the future.
