Korean Culture Is Popular in Taiwan

In Taiwan, people like to watch the soap opera which are directed and acted by Korean. We also like to eat Korean food and wear the clothes which are made in Korea. Teenagers in Taiwan also like Korean singers and actors. Why is Korean culture so popular in Taiwan? I think that there are three reasons. First, there are good plots in Korea’s soap opera which always attract everyone to watch them. Korean actors and actresses are famous and have good acting. Besides, Korean directors have their own techniques to preserve beautiful scenes in Korea. By watching Korea’s soap opera, we can know their tradition, life, and culture. Second, there are a lot of popular restaurants which sell Korean food in Taiwan. For instance, we can eat Ginseng Chicken, BiBimbap, and Kimchi in Taiwan. It means Taiwanese can accept the flavor of Korean food. Taiwanese also affect by Korean TV programs which show their life. The clothes which are designed by Korean designers are very fashionable and trendy. Korean can absorb the newest style and trend very fast, and renew with time immediately. They have their own style on their clothes, not just imitate others. Third, Taiwanese can listen to Korean music and watch MVs on TV. They also can buy Korean singers’ records in Taiwan’s record stores. We know the newest Korean songs by watching TV. TV programs are good ways to spread information. That is the reason why Korean culture is so popular in Taiwan. The advancement of science and technique makes information spread, and it promotes cultural exchange.
