The Count-down Party

In most countries, counting down party is a big event on December 31st. I have participated in countdown party for many years. The first experience was going to Taipei City Hall with my friends, enjoying the concert which is performed by many super singers. This year, however, I prefer to stay at home and count down with my family members. On November 31st afternoon, my sister and I went to supermarket which is near my house to buy some materials for chafing dish. My sister and I washed vegetables and prepared sauce. On the other hand, my mother prepared the table. The kitchen was filled with laughter and noise while we were working together. Although it was not an abundant and delicate meal but a chafing dish, we enjoyed the atmosphere of getting together in front of the dining table. We had a dinner while watching television relay. All of us were very joyful at that time. When passing a quarter to eleven, we went upstairs to the top of our house where there could see Taipei 101 and Miramar Entertainment Park. On the left side is Taipei 101, on the contrary, Miramar Entertainment Park is on the right side. When Taipei 101 and Miramar started shooting the firework, the whole dark sky was really brilliant. We said happy New Year loudly, giving a hug to each other. Suddenly, the chilly air around us became warm. Finally, it is necessary to have new wishes in the coming New Year. And my new wishes is that health, happiness and peace.
