Journal (June 3)

Yesterday I saw a short video on YouTube. The short video is come from a movie— “Never give UP.” As a usual day, a football team does training on field. A leader named Brook he thought their group will lose the next game because their opponent is strong. The coach asked Brook to do training that the entire members are scared—Death Crawl. Death Crawl means you have to carry a person on your back when you are crawling. The coach thinks Brooks can run for fifty yards. The coach asked Brook to promise him that he will do his best. Then, the coach put goggles on his eyes. At the end, Brook did it. Brook carried a one hundred and fifty pound person on the back and run one hundred ten yards on field. In the process, Brook’s coach said “That it” for seventeen times, “keep going” for fifteen times, “Don’t give up” for twenty three times, “Do your best” for nine times, “Keep moving” for forty eight times. It is very touched. We never know what we can do. Human beings have unlimited possibilities. When we face a big problem, we always get away from it. The video tells us not to give up no matter what the situation is. We want to give up when we lose our confidence. If you have someone to support you, you must be a lucky person. The coach encourages Brook when he wants to give up. The person in my life is my mother. She always accompany with me when I feel sad, upset and depression. I remember she told me “You can’t give up by doing everything. Just do your best. After you try hard, the number is not important for you anymore.” Until now, I remember what my mother told me. Thanks for the person that she told me keep going and not to give up.
