The Causes of Drop Out of College

For many people, entering college is a dream, so they study hard to attend to a good college. However, nowadays more and more students didn’t finish their studies because some reasons. According to research, there are three major reasons: the poor grade, the low attendance rate, and the high tuition.

     One important cause of students dropping out of the college is students’ low grade. The learning style is not strict at college. Students join varies extra

curricular activities and indulge in it. As a result, students wouldn’t concentrate on their studies and fails almost subjects. In the end, students have to leave college.

      Another reason for students can’t finish their studies because of they’re low attendance rate. Attendance rate is an important point, because it is relate on student’s behavior grade. In professors’ opinion, study is a duty for students, and the learning attitude is very important. If the student always skip classes, and it will be thinking an irresponsible students and get a low behavior grade. In the end, the student failed in the class and flunk out from college.

       The last reason for students discontinuing their studies is the unaffordable tuition makes them can’t study intently. This is a serious problem for many students. Because the tuition is so high, it is difficult for many families to pay it. In this reason, students have to do part-time job or even to loan the fees by themselves. When students spend time both on studying and working. They may too tire to study or busy in working, so they don’t have much time to prepare their tests or reports well. Finally, they will easily absent from college. 

        Students drop out of college for many reasons, including students’ poor grade, the low attendance rate, and the high tuition. If there are anyone who drop out of college around you, and you have to encourage him or her to study continually or to learn some professional skills.
