Kinect : a extraordinary new way to play-316 words

Microsoft released a new game console ‘’Kinect’’ to provide user a new way playing video game with your family in home. What different between ‘’Kinect’’ and traditional video game device is that user wouldn’t need to control anything in your hand; however, the only thing which you need to do is swinging your body, jumping, and dancing in front of television. It sounds like a joke. But it becomes a reality by a new technology named Light Coding. It contains a 3D camera on the Kinect, and the camera will capture the player’s movement and motions. It allows the user to control the video game instead of gadgets. Kinect uses a motion sensor that tracks your entire body. It’s about all of you. Arms, legs, knees, waist, hips and so on. As you play, Kinect creates a digital skeleton of you based on depth data. So when you move left or right or jump around, the sensor will capture it and put you in the game. Kinect also uses four strategically placed microphones within the sensor to recognize and separate your voice from the other noises in the room, so you can control movies and more with your voice.

It bring a new evolution of video game after Wii(It was considered a revolution in video game. It means that video game is not limited by teenager and a small number of people, but it is accepted to every range of age. No matter how old or young you are, you can get fun from those easy game soon. It was being used as a physical therapy tool at retirement homes, has become a Sunday night family pastime and has converted thousands of non-gamers into video game buyers.)

Microsoft tries to copy those miracles which was happen on Wii. But Kinct faces a hard fight with his competitors PlayStation Move of Sony and Wii HD of Nintendo.
