Memories About Last Winter Vacation

I had an excellent winter vacation last year. Surely, I want to have a same happy vocation in this year. Therefore, I recalled what I did in last winter vacation. There are three important and impressive memories which I want to share with you.
First, I went to Ilan with my college friends at the beginning of the vacation. The driver was our lovely drillmaster, who took care of our daily life in our college life. Moving fast through the longest tunnel in Taiwan- the Snow Mountain tunnel, I was extremely excited and happy. Finally, we arrived at Ilan , where was full of fields and grasses. Then, drillmaster took us to the most famous restaurant near harbor to eat seafood. We ate crabs, lobsters, and even sashimi. The food was so fresh that I will never forget how good it tasted. After eating the great meal, we came to a military in Ilan because our drillmaster wanted to see his old friends there. We visited the large warship and even got on it. Getting on the warship was the most spectacular experience I had ever had. We even took a visit an engine room on the warship. Eventually, we left this amazing military base and came to eat some traditional ice cream. Eating this kind of ice cream made me think about the generation of my parents. As a result, we left this beautiful land with cheerful hearts but physical tired. We thanked to our drillmaster and have this great memory forever.
Second, I went to Pingsi, where was the most meaningful place for me with my best friend. You must wonder why this place is so meaningful for us. Because my Chinese name calls Pingshi, it is interesting that this place has the same name as me. Pingsi is famous for the sky lantern, which would bless us happy and peace in our tradition. Moreover, we could see trains driving on the road at Pingsi. Furthermore, this place retained lots of old buildings and customs for us to explore it. We had fun there and joined the activity to light a sky lantern and let it fly to the sky. At that moment, I saw the happiness not only on people’s faces but also in their minds. Also, we wished at that time and hoped dreams would come true in this year. Although it was also an extremely tired day, I would keep this meaningful and excited trip in my mind for good.
Last but no least, I learned to ride a motorcycle and failed in last winter vacation. I went back to my mother’s homeland to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Meanwhile, I met with my cousins and asked them to teach me how to ride a motorcycle. At first time, I learned fast and thought that it was easy. However, I fell when I was preparing to park a motorcycle. My right leg was pressed by the back tire of the motorcycle and got hurt. After having this accident, my cousin said that I needed to focus my sight when I rode my motorcycle. Finally, I realized how important for our safe. This is also my dream to learn riding a motorcycle completely in this year.
Eventually, I want to have as great vacation as last year’s. Moreover, I will make a study plan to improve my English ability and prepared for the GEPT test next year. I believe that I can be a girl who can not only play hard but also study hard.
