I heard a book named “The secret” a lot but have not got a chance to
read it. But I finally find time to read it yesterday. The secret is a
best-selling 2006 self-help book. It says that the universe is governed by a
natural law called the law of attraction. The law of attraction is a natural law
which determines the complete order of the universe and of our personal lives
through the process of “like attracts like.” The author claims that as we think
and feel, a corresponding frequency is sent out into the universe that attracts
back to us event and circumstances on that same frequency. For example, if you
think angry thoughts and feel angry, it is claimed that you will attract back
events and circumstances that cause you to feel more anger. Conversely, if you
think and feel positively, you will attract back positive events and
circumstance.
Some people agree this theory some people don’t. I am in between. I
think when you have a good result it is easy for you to think that must be the
law of attraction work. But you forgot how hard you work for it to make it
become true. And same when you have a bad result you may think it because you didn’t
think it positively enough but actually you forgot you just think and do
nothing about it. So of course you won’t get a good result. I think it is good
for this book to teach people to think positive not overly pessimistic. But I
think it is more important about what you do and not what you are thinking. If
you just think and don’t do anything to achieve your goal then you must failed.
