Everyone needs a guardian angel...Some people wait their whole lives to find their soul mates. But not Holly and Gerry. Childhood sweethearts, they could finish each other’s sentences and even when they fought, they laughed. No one could imagine Holly and Gerry without each other. Until the unthinkable happens. Gerry’s death devastates Holly. But as her 30th birthday looms, Gerry comes back to her. He’s left her a bundle of notes, one for each of the months after his death, gently guiding Holly into her new life without him, each note signed ’PS, I Love You’. As the notes are gradually opened, and as the year unfolds, Holly is both cheered up and challenged. The man who knows her better than anyone sets out to teach her that life goes on. With some help from her friends, and her noisy and loving family, Holly finds herself laughing, crying, singing, dancing -- and being braver than ever before. Life is for living, she realizes -- but it always helps if there’s an angel watching over you.
(From PS, I LOVE YOU, by Cecelia Ahern)
She had been given a wonderful gift: life. Sometimes it was cruelly taken away too soon, but it was what you did with it that counted, not how long it lasted. (It is my favorite little part of it)

It is a movie based on one of the best- selling novels. Recently, I see the movie and deeply touched by it. It makes me think about how great one person’s love and whether I could love my sweetheart like him. Although Gerry has gone, his love to Holly still exists in her heart if he never leaves. Gerry always knows what is important to her and she needs most, then gives her a way properly to start her new life. He left ten envelopes to her for helping her baby to find their unforgettable past memory and courage, energy to live. He does everything just for one purpose that Holly will be happy and find another man who can love her in the rest of her live. I think the most touching point to me is that he loves her, but he doesn’t want Holly sad, alone for his death; he said” he just a part of Holly’s life, not all.” Because he loves her, he always thinks for her, not control over her even if he is dead, he is like an angel watching over her.

I think that loving a person is hard, tired but sweet and satisfied. It is a magic, you always miss him/her and want to share everything with him/her. You focus on him/her all day long if there are only you two people in the world. But even if how you love a person, you also hope and need to have feedback from him/her. Maybe, everyone has own unique love story, you have to enjoy and feel it by yourself.(267 words)
