The Things I Hope to Accomplish in the New Academic Year

  If someone asked me what I have learned in the college, I would say I have no idea. It sounds ridiculous, but it is true. Thus, I begin to think why students have to enter the college. I remembered the professor, John Wu, said students in the college need to obtain a deeper understanding of human from reading. Due to that, I found reading is really important. Therefore, I decide to read at least three books in the new academic year. Maybe some people think that reading three books a year is too easy, but I do not think so. The reason is that I seldom spend my time on reading before. Not only reading but also studying is important. Now I am a junior, I have to take the Toeic exam and score seven hundred marks before I graduate from school. It is not an easy job because I heard the news that only half of students can pass the exam. It is terrible. It means half of students can not get the diplomas, so I required myself to pass the exam when I am a junior. I do not want to worry about it when I become a senior. In conclusion, I will study harder and read more books in the new academic year.                                                                                   215
