     My Feeling about reading Pride and Prejudice

     Pride and Prejudice is one of my favorite books. After I finished the book, I was so touching. I still remembered what Elizabeth said to Darcy as the reply of his proposal. “The moment I first met you, I noticed your pride, your sense of superiority, and your selfish disdain for the feelings of others. Later events strengthened my dislike for you. You are the last man in the world whom I could ever be persuaded to marry.” Said Elizabeth Bennet. This dialogue is the unforgettable for me.
     According to the story, Elizabeth considered that Mr. Darcy was too proud, too hard to get along with, and too disdainful to the poor. For this reason, Elizabeth had a bad impression on him. After she learned more about Mr. Darcy, she realized that she was completely wrong. I thought this was the prejudice of Elizabeth to Mr. Darcy. On the other hand, Mr. Darcy was a nobleman. Whoever he associated with always had the same background just like him. In their notion, ladies who wanted to approach them always because of their wealth but love. The moment Mr. Darcy first met the Elizabeth he said, “She’s not attractive enough to tempt me.” And this was the pride of Mr. Darcy to Elizabeth.
     After I done this story, I realized that pride and prejudice was the commonest faults and weaknesses to human being. Sometimes, there were pride include in prejudice; sometimes, there were prejudice include in pride. If somebody treated you by pride, then you would take prejudice in return. Perhaps, somebody thought that we should learn some inspiration, which was to correct our faults and weaknesses, or we should open our mind to others, from the story. However, I had a different point of view. I considered that it was impossible to get along with people without conflicting. For this reason, if we faced this conflict and misunderstanding, we could learn more from this challenge of human nature.
     Finally, I just wanted to say this story really taught me a lot. Even though Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy had a misunderstanding and conflict between each other, they still found that they were too stubborn to see the truth. Because they learned more about each other, they just knew that how foolish they were. Eventually, they had a happy ending. Introspection is difficult, but the most important thing is to recognize ourselves.
