Reflection on an on-line article

In 21 century, China is a country which has the influence on international politics and public conditions. In this article, it mentions seven advantages of China that almost not exist in Taiwan. In last thirty years, Taiwan was an economic miracle in Asia, and there’s a title called “Four Asian Tigers” including Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore and Hong Kong. As time went by, the center of economy changed, China became stronger and stronger. The population and the markets are the factors that Taiwan can’t surpass it. “In 2002 China had 590000 college graduates majoring in science and technology.” What a terrible number! If these college graduates all come to Taiwan, what will happen? I can’t image the influence. And the graduates just a small part of China, if other departments of students all come here, the result must be that Taiwan would be much crowed. Now China is a developing country, compares to Taiwan, China is more potential than Taiwan. The resources in China are much more than Taiwan, too. If someday, there’s nothing could trade to other countries in Taiwan, what will we be? Recently, China expands the influence internationally, opposite to Taiwan, Taiwan becomes marginal. What will the relationship between Taiwan and China be? Whatever, students in Taiwan must promote the competitiveness.(214)
