The Advertisement I Like

“Starry, starry night. Paint your palette blue and gray.” The song starting and the pictures were appearing. Those pictures were Van Gogh’s famous works, like Cafe Terrace at Night, The Starry Night, Sunflowers, Vincent`s Bedroom in Arles, and so on. But in the end, they started to introduce their new credit card. That was ABN AMRO Bank N.V’s advertisement. I am a person who doesn’t like to see advertisements. So I always changed the programs when the advertisements came out. I remember that I stopped to change the channel and watch this advertisement because I heard the song first. Then, I wanted to listen to the song and the following pictures were also attracted to me. After that, when the advertisement appeared every time, I always put the remote controller down to see it and sang the song. I also became to know those Van Gogh’s works and started to find information about Van Gogh. I remember I saw this advertisement when I was an elementary school student. I was so young that I can’t understand what the bank wanted to express. I just like the song and the pictures. My mother ever told me the bank use this advertisement because people know Van Gogh was a Dutch and the bank was also from Netherlands. The bank also wanted people to apply for the new credit card with those Van Gogh’s beautiful works. No matter what the benefit of the bank’s credit card, I still like this advertisement. This is the advertisement that I like the most.
