A Winter Camp In Yingge Ceramics Museum
This winter vacation, I participated a camp in Yingge Ceramics Museum as a staff. Originally, I didn’t participate in this camp until I knew another camp that it failed. About ten minutes later, I got a phone call and hoped me to participate. I felt hesitate because I didn’t have enough time to understand the situation in the whole camp. Finally, I answered and prepared my package to the place we met.
First, I found someone who needed any help. In the night, we divided some works in the camp. Unfortunately, I had to be a fierce staff to let members comply with rules. I remembered that I was trained for a long time. That was a tough experience for me. In the camp, my friend told me some reactions about members. They were afraid of me. There was a proverb goes,” Well begun is half done.” I also had to be a nice staff to members. I needed to lead a game to let them happy. At that time, I felt I was a double-face person. Finally, I accepted a big punishment to let members change about my temper. I wanted to let them know my good personality.
There was just part one. We had part two to prepare it. This time, I was a staff and could get along with them more time than part one. In first day, I found about 70% members studied in 5th or 6th grade in my team. So, I had to change my way to treat them. Fortunately, my members were very good just like angels. I felt very happy. In part two, I had more opportunities to train my abilities. So, I could learn more than before.
In this activity, I learned many things that I almost didn’t to contact different fields. It also let me have more confident to face any tough situations. Next time, I would prepare more than before. In order to my future, I might be harder and harder than before.
That's a tough training, but rewarding experience.
