The school held a singing contest on December 1, in order to celebrate the wonderful Christmas. The teacher who taught our reading class, she encouraged me that I could try this competition, so I signed up for the individual group. At that morning, I woke up early to give off my voice and practice again and again. The time of the contest is approaching, I became so nervous. I am worried about my representation, so I kept practicing and hope I would have a wonderful performance. The contest held at the night. I waited for my father and mother finished their work and they accompanied me to the campus, because only they could smooth out my nerve.
When we arrived in the locality, I saw that there were lots of people participated in this contest and the place was crowded with contesters. The host of the singing contest was Mr.Skupin, his appearance and laughter was just like a lovely Santa Claus. I was the last of the individual group, when I went up to the stage, I was nervous extremely. I sang a song which named “The Christmas Song” I took a deep breath and started to sing. The spot light fell on me, I pretended that I was the super star. I sang without accompaniment. When I finished my performance, I was relaxed and I thought I had a not bad display.
When the judge announced the result, I screamed at the same time. I won the third prize. I was so happy that I could win a prize and I was grateful to my parents, they supported me all the time.
