The Pleasant Journey in Korea
It was a happy trip in Korea with my family during this summer vacation. In Korea, I felt that I was a rich girl because their currency value was very small. Exchange rate was about 1: 35 (Taiwan: Korea). Actually, it was very hard to convert with the exchange rate.
We usually associated fashion when we talked about Korea. That was truth. We went to the biggest clothes store in Korea. There were many kinds of clothes, for fashionable, office lady……and so on. The most importance things was that the price was cheap than others. Besides, the time was not enough to go shopping on one day. That’s was a pity.
The cosmetic was also the most famous things in Korea. There are some famous shops in Korea. For example, they are “The Face Shop”, “Etude House”, and the “Skin Food”. Their prices are Taiwan’s one-third. So, I bought a lot of things in these shops.
Korean always has rice and kimchi for each meal every day. I thought that their rice was delicious, but Taiwan’s pickle was better than Korean. We also had Korean B.B.Q.; the meat was very delicious, too. At night, we went to convenience stores to buy some their famous foods, such as, instant noodles, banana milk, and hami melon icecream. In Korea, the convenience stores are familiar with Taiwan, but their Family Mart is more than 7-11.
Although the room was small, it was very warm and felt happiness.
Their hotel was different from us; they had a small kitchen in the room. It could make the breakfast in the small room. One of the hotel, it had hot spring and spa. It was very interesting and enjoyable.
In this trip, I met a person who was a interchange student from Korea to Taiwan last year. It was pretty cool and surprised that I could meet her. It was a nice trip and had a good time. Korea and Taiwan have many similarities, and it is easy to go. Therefore, I think that I can go to Korea by myself next time.
