My Lovely Mom

Last Friday evening, I prepared to go sleep after I brushed my teeth. Suddenly, my cell phone rang. However, I was confused about why did my mother call me by using telephone because I was at home! Although I was confused about it, I still answered the phone quickly. “Annie, had you slept?” My mother asked me immediately when I answered the phone. “Not yet.” I replied and told her that I was at home. My mom was so surprise when she heard that. After we finished our conversation, I went to her bedroom. When she saw me, she didn’t say anything but only laugh, laugh and laugh. At that time, I thought that my mom was foolish and I didn’t know what I should say. About ten minutes later, my still kept laughing so I couldn’t help but thinking that my mom had been crazy in my mind. Next day, I told the crazy thing to my father and brothers when they all were in the living room. All of them said that my mom was crazy but it was not the first time to us. After they finished their talking, we all burst out laughing at the same time. Meanwhile, I was sure that we must were family indeed that’s why we had the same consensus about my mom.
On Sunday afternoon, before I prepared to go back to Taipei, I asked my mom why she kept laughing at that time when she saw me. “Because I felt that I was too stupid and it was so embarrassed to me.” It was really a strange reason but it made us closely. I appreciate that I have the special mother very much. Though she often does some foolish things, she is the most interesting and lovely mother in the world for me. My lovely mother is so important and unique for me that no one can substitute her place in my mind.
