Western Horror Films versus Asian Horror Films

I cannot deny thatI am absolutely a crazy moviegoer. If I see an attractive movie trailer on TV, Iwould go the theater to see the movie. Everyone has their favorite films, butstrangely the films that catch my attention are always the horror films. The characteristicof horror films is extremely horrible, but the true is that the films fromdifferent countries have different ways to express the story. Let me take theWestern horror films and the Asian horror films for example. Even though Westernfilms and Asian films are called horror films, they are totally different onthe cultural background, religious background, and the elaborations of plot arequite different.

When it comes to the Western films, thefirst point of view is the cultural and religious background. Most western countriesare Catholic of Christian, and they believe that if something or someone goingwrong, they would hold an exorcism to get rid of the evil spirits. The secondpoint of view is the elaboration of the plot. A majority of the Western horror filmsare fictional, and because of the cultural and religious background, the ghostsof the western countries are very simple and without variation. Most of theghosts in Western films are always the devils and the evil spirits. Thefeatures of those spirits are always summoned by people, or having an intactbody, and they only appear at the specific time and place. It will takepossession in someone and try to kill the characters by itself in the films. Wecan say that the Western horror films are bloody and violence.

The Asian horror films can be divided intothree types of category, the Japanese horror films, the Korean horror films,and the Thai horror films. The cultural and religious backgrounds of Asiancountries are absolutely different from Western countries. Most of the Asiancountries are Buddhism and Taoism, and they believe that the spirit is a trueexistence. When a person dies in peace, he or she will become a good spirit,and go to the reincarnation. On the contrary, if someone dies in injustice in amurder case, he or she will become an evil spirit, wandering in the earth untilit takes revenge. In the plot of most Asian horror films, especially the Thaihorror films, most of them are adapted from the real social events. It alwayslet the audiences believe that the plot in the story will truly happen in thereality. The fear of the Asian horror films are from psychological. The ghostsin the films are always the person who dies by accident; thus, the spirits willcarry the huge resentment, and it just has an image but on entity. The mostimportant thing is that the spirits appear at everywhere to find a chance tohurt you by simulating suicide or spiritual attack.

Finally,I must say the Asian horror films are more horrible than the Western horrorfilms. In my experience, when I finish the Asian horror films, the films alwaysgive me the creeps and make me feel shuddering, but the Western horror filmsnever give me the feeling like that. Therefore, the Asian horror filmsespecially the Thai horror films are always the best choice for me. (554)

Havingthe opportunity to meet my piano teacher is the most important thing in mylife. I started to take my piano lesson when I was an eight-year-old littlegirl because of my mom. Every week I went to the class just for fun, and I alsodid not pay much attention on practicing. Therefore, my piano was really bad! Twoyears later, I was sent to another piano teacher, who was my former pianoteacher commended my mother to do so. At that very time, I couldn’t understandwhy they wanted me to change the teacher until the first time I came to classand had a life changing conversation with my new teacher. I always rememberedwhat my new piano teacher told me that day. She asked me ‘Do you like music? ’,and I astonishingly found that I couldn’t answer her question. After a silence,she told me if I couldn’t answer her question next week, I wouldn’t have beenallowed to come to the class anymore. It was thanks to my new piano teacher toask me the question that made me realized the true meaning of learning to playthe piano. Hong Kong Trip

My parent’s and I went to Hong Kong for three days last week, and we just plan to have a New Years day in other country, it is my first time to wake up in the 4:00am, because we have to went to the airport in the 6:00am, and it is really cold to me in the morning.

We arrived Hong Kong at 8:00am; then, we went to our hotel to take a rest first, and we decided what place we want to go plan the other two days. We went to the International Commerce Centre to go shopping and waiting my mother’s friend, we just see a lot of different style’s store in there, and it’s also cheap in Hong Kong, if we want to buy many clothes to Taiwan, I think Hong Kong is a best place which we can visit. We go to The Peak after we shopping in the International Commerce Center, we just go to the Peak Galleria to see the night view which in the top of The Peak, it is really beautiful that I have never seen, the weather and air quality is pretty good in that time, and the tram is a little shock to me, because the angle is big to me when I sit in the tram, I think it’s really famous in Hong Kong because there are many people sit there and line up to see the view, we just come back to our hotel and have a good night.

We just wake up in the 10:00am, and we went to their most famous shopping area in Honk Kong which just likes Hsimenting in Taiwan without any pressure, we take a walk in the road and go around to see some local culture in their store and market, it is really special to me and I bought some goods there. In the evening we go to the International Finance Centre to see the firework which celebrate the New Years Day, and we just waiting the time close to 00:00, people is more excited when the time is countdown, we just say Happy New Year to every stranger and everyone may say the same words to us. It is really a fresh and unforgettable experience to us to celebrate The New Years in other country.

We go to the airport and surround the airport to visit the department store and see the viewing in their 100 SKY, the view is very beautiful but the tickets is expensive, then we just sit in the coffee shop and waiting the time to come back. This trip is a best trip I never been before, and I think I won’t forget this Hong Kong trip in my life.

I hurt my coccyx

Before the scary ghost concert I was happy that I could join the work group. I expected of it for a long time, but I suddenly felt painful of my coccyx two days ago before the scary ghost concert was held. I called my mother on that day’s evening and told her that I feel uncomfortable. She said to me “I will discuss with your father, and I will call you back immediately if we have any conclusion.” Actually I felt uncomfortable of my coccyx for one day ago, but I just felt it uncomfortable not painful.
One hour past, my mother finally gave me a call and she said “I will pick you up tonight and package what you need; we will be there as soon as possible.” After two hours my mom and my dad arrived. They asked me what I done in this week. They also told me that they already reserved the doctor-patient hour, and they reminded me to have well rest.
The second days we went to see the doctor and I told him where I felt painful and where I thought uncomfortable. After diagnosis, doctor said I was ok, just my stand and sit posture incorrect. I needed to adjust my posture.
I think I will adjust my posture as soon as possible, because it is really painful to hurt the coccyx. Keeping good posture is really important!

I am Louie!

It’s important to cultivate good habits for your English learning, for example, listening English conversation, reading English articles and speaking English. My poorest part is listening. I can’t recognize the words accurately that foreigners say. I used to listen the tests in the Net. Then I stopped the practice after I did a few times because I didn’t have perseverance. My conclusion is that if you want to be good at some skills or abilities, you need to have perseverance.

I like western countries because there have wide and beautiful views, especially very long and big roads. I always imagine that I drive the car on the big road in the US. The broad surroundings make me feel free. I also like western people, not only their optimistic personality but also their dressing style. The western culture attracts me to be close to it. That is the main motivation I learn English.

There are a large number of Chinese people in the world. More and more people start to value Chinese culture and its economics. Chinese language becomes important too. The Chinese are diligent and patient. I am so proud that I am a Chinese man.

I expect that my English will be very fluent in the future and I can understand almost every word foreigners say. I have a bad habit. When I see something like the magazine and something’s illustration is English. I don't have any patience to read it. I just like reading Chinese because it is easy for me. I expect that one day I can overcome this bad habit.

The best way to learn language well is practice, pretending you are an American or you are in an English language country. If you want to learn English well, you talk to people by English and watch the English Channel, trying to listen to foreigners’ conversation. Only having perseverance can you learn everything well. I used to learn Japanese before. And I bought Korean and France learning books. I studied the books by myself, however, it's difficult to learn by myself. You must need strong passion and motivation of learning language then you can learn it good. Anyway, just do it, you do what you like to do.

In the pass, like our grandparents’ age, they were very hard in everything, because everybody was very poor. In the beginning, they were few person who can buy the television, and they were also the rich man. However, television became popular and common more and more by the time passes. Now, family who doesn’t have it which is very strange must buy one which put on the sitting room, though we don’t know what they used it or not. I think that it is the reason why we say the television which is the biggest invention.

The second reason is that television is not just watching TV program; however, it can do lots of things which combine with other electronic equipment such as playing a video game. For example, the play station which is created by Sony company is very popular in every country and it is played not only by children but also by adult. However, if they don’t invent television in the 20 century, the play station will not become this condition which is very popular. I think that it is also a big reason to prove why we say. Importantly, it is not just play station which we can play, and there is lots of electronic equipment which have relations with television.

The winter is coming, but what we know it is coming? It is by our feeling, and by information which we can get from television. The feeling is very important, but information is more and more important. It gets not only weather information but also economic information and so on. an unforgettable experience

Everyone has difference work in their life. My parents make breakfast for people. My uncle is working in teacher for teaching. My grandmother is a farmer. I am a student in college, but I also have a job in the past.

It was unforgettable to contact the patient. In my first times, I remember one of the patients broken his leg. I took him with wheelchair to take the x-ray. He rode too fast to have it which broke his leg. After three months, I saw him in other floors. To my surprise, his leg was cut by doctor. He became the disabled. Although I had stayed in hospital for six months, I always felt incredible. Afterwards, one elder woman was bumped by car when she waited for the traffic lights. Next days, she transform from the patient rooms to ICU. Several days ago, the nurse made me send the report to anamnesis’ room. The report’s name was named that elder woman. This report was the death certificate.

People knew that life was invaluable. People should cherish themselves, but only few men can fulfill.

Traveling to Ilan

Traveling to Ilan

October 10 is Double Tenth Festival. Because of the crowded home traffic, we gave up to go home. But we don’t want to waste the good holiday, we decided to travel to Ilan two days. Because we didn’t familiar with Ilan, we bought a travel guide and study hard. Even if the probability of rain this two day in Ilan is 100%, it can’t make us give up the idea of travel.

Our first place is Jiaosi. First, we went to Tourist Service Center. We took some brochures and google some information. Then, we started to find a hostel. Because we didn’t reservation in advance, it is hard to find the cheap and suitable hostel. Fortunately, we finally found some empty rooms which are on the third floor of their own house in Lotung. After that, we soaked in a hot-spring and listened to an outdoor concert in the hot spring park. We also ate a half famous chicken and the Smoked Duck. When we leaved Jiaosi, it started to rain cats and dogs.

Our next place is Lotung. We rented the motorcycles and went to our hostel. After taking a bath, we went to Lotung night market for our dinner. There are many delicious foods such as mutton soup and weiheart’s pearl. The next day, we rode motorcycles around the Ilan. We went to scallion museum in sunshin. It is a new experience to eat scallion cakes and scallion ice cream. In the end of the traveling, we went back to Ilan city and have a nice dinner in East gate night market.

After traveling, I considered that traveling with several good friends is a wonderful thing. I suggest that you can travel after the midterm exam. It will relax you a lot.

After hearing the speech of translation, I got more information on it. Honestly, I have taking an extra class of translation and grammar near at Taipei train station after school. Two instructors that I had listened were absolutely having same point of view. First of all, do not translate English sentence into Chinese in Chinese way. Last but not least, translation is definitely not the mechanization of the languages, the translator must be sensitive to the original text of rich semantics. As far as I am concerned, vocabularies are most important thing ever, if you learn more words, it`s really useful when you are writing or translating.

I read Vicky's essay, and the topic is '' The Benefits of Surfing The Internet''. In this essay, I can get some information about how many main benefits we have got from the internet. First, she said that the internet can offer different people to shop at any time and any where. I am very agree with it, because most people are busy with their work or other stuffs, and they need the internet to buy what they need for their supplies. For me, it is also the best way for lazy people to buy many things. I spend five to seven hours on internet shopping per week. It's really convenient for students who live in mountain like me. I just need to pay in convenience store, and I can get almost anything that I need.

The second idea from Vicky about the Internet is that people can search many information on it. For students like us, it is very important for us to have fast way to get information which relate to our homework or presentations. For travelers, it is also a way to search local information, train's schedule and the weather condition.

Finally, Vicky thinks the internet also makes people from different worlds know each others much more. People can share their own ideas with different colors even they live with long distance. Through the internet, we not only can make friends but also understand many countries' culture and custom. I have some friends live in different country, and I met them on the internet. Due to that, I can practice my oral English and the speed with importing English.

It's almost the end of this semester. I remember that I electing the leader of the association, applying the drama class and meeting some friends I thought that I would never met in my life.

It's very smooth and happy year on the average. Although there are something upset, it had me learn a lot. I think that learning something is more important and better than you learning nothing in an ease life. I have made my new year resolutions and wishes. I hope that I can carry out all of it.

I promise I will study harder than this semester did. I have too many thing and extracurricular activities. I will reduce these activities and do my best on the studying.

I thank my friends and family so much because they understand I am busy and tolerant my hot temper. It's a shame that I can't go home very often. I can't wait for going home on the winter vacation. The Reflection of The Iliad

The Iliad is another name for the Ilion, a city located in Anatolia and Asia Minor. And, The Iliad, was written in ancient period by Homer is an epic that talks about Trojan War. What’s its relation to the Chinese History is that both of the people in this period worshiped gods very much.

So, that makes a connection with two histories. The ancient Greeks literatures were all talked about Myth, god’s story. So did Shang Dynasty, they worshiped the gods with piety.

The Iliad began with The Rage of Achilles and ended with Hector’s Funeral. After there had been nine years war, Cryses, a priest of Apollo came to ask Agamemnon to give his daughter back, Cryseis. But, Agamemnon refused his request; meanwhile, he threatened and dishonored him. Thus, Cryses prayed and cried to Apollo that hope the god can give him a hand. Then, Apollo gave a punishment to Greeks. All of the Greeks knew why the god is so angry, but no one dared to tell the truth. However, a prophet told the truth due to Achilles’ support. Agamemnon did give back the priest’s daughter, but he also took Achilles’ woman, Briese away, too. That made Achilles furious, so he decided not to join the war again. Achilles, the son of Thites, a nymph and Peleus, cried to his mother and complained about his unfair treatment. Thites heard that, and she took a revenge on Greeks. Because Achilles refused to participate in any battle, the Greek were defeated by Trojan warrior. Achilles’ best friend, Patroclus asked Achilles to give him Achilles armor that would encourage and inspire the Greek. However, Hector, a warrior and prince of Troy, and also a son of Priam, the king of Troy, killed Patroclus that made Achilles decided to come back and revenged on his friend. So, Achilles returned to the battle field again. He fought with Hector. Hector failed in the fighting and he was killed by Achilles. Achilles took his corpse, pierced the tendons above he heels and cinched them with leather thongs to his chariot, letting Hector’s head drag. And, he whipped his team to a willing gallop across the plain. Hector’s corpse was defiled by the dust. Achilles took it back to his tent. Priam groaned pitifully, making a desperate appeal that he went to Achilles’ tent and ransoming his son’s dead body. Achilles did give back Hector’s body after he ordered servant to wash the corpse. They agreed that stopped fighting a week before Hector’s Funeral over.

In the ancient period women seems in an inferior state. They had objectified. And, they were also viewed as war trophies that symbolized an honor. As Chinese culture, people put man in a superior class. Men can merry plenty of women; however, women can just marry a man. Enemy’s armor is one of the honor’s symbols. Hector took Patroclus’ armor, also Achilles’ armor, showed he took the honor of antagonist. But Chinese won’t take one’s armor to show their honor. They may take the weapons away because those weapons can be reused. This is a difference between ancient Greeks and Chinese. Ancient Greeks are convinced of Fate. They think gods are in charge of the fate of human. As Shang Dynasty’s people believed god and divination. No one can escape from the fate and gods’ hand.

Different types of Musical instrument

I've developed my interest in music since I was in junior. I joined the wind assemble band. And, the first class I was taught is recognizing different types of musical instrument.There are a various kind of musical instruments. Each of them has their own way of making sound and belongs to different instrument families. For instance, there are string, keyboard, woodwind, brass and percussion. Different type of sound would lead into quality of sound.

Piano, organ and harpsichord are keyboard family. They have a row of keys which each key correspond to each pitch. The characteristic of keyboard is that they can produce abundant chords, so they are always chosen as a solo instrument.

There are two of the groups belong to string family. One of the string groups consist of violin, viola, cello and double bass, which make sound by bowing string. Another is harp and guitar, which are plucking the string. It features the tender and constant sound. String player doesn’t need to take a breath like wind instrument player. String instruments always have a resonance box to make and enlarge their sound.

Woodwind instrument are divided into three groups which categorized by the reed. Flute is the non-reed instrument. It produces sound by the vibration inside the instrument. Its sound quality sounds bright and slight. Clarinet and saxophone are single reed instruments. They have the quality of thick and mellowed. Oboe and Bassoon are the double reeds instruments. By blowing the reed to make the reeds vibrate, they sound more withered.

The brass instruments are characteristic of the horn and the mouthpiece. The horn is to enlarge and reinforce the sound so it can be transmit farther. The sound is made by vibrating player’s mouth. The feature of the sound is big and bright.

Percussion consists of two groups; one is the definite instrument, another is the indefinite instrument. The definite means that the instrument is tuned and has pitch, vice versa. Timpani, xylophone and bells are the tuned instruments; Snare drum, bass drum, cymbal and tambourine are untuned instruments. Percussion instruments are played in many ways, such as beating, shaking, scraping and turning. They are used to enforce the rhythm or imitate a unique sound.

By using different way of playing, instruments sound different.

It’s a famous program to help the participants to go abroad, do a part-time job, and go sightseeing in the foreign countries. Now, there are many countries conclude the pact, America, Japan, Korea, German, Australia, New Zealand, and the England also open up the pact recently. As for the job, there have many jobs can choose, such as, ride operator at the theme park, room attendant in the hotels or resorts, laundry, shop assistant at the supercenter, and farmer. According to these different countries, and work, students can choose by their interest. My friend has ever joined this program last year, he worked at the theme park in America, and he worked as a roller coaster operator in the amusement park. When he went back, he told to me, it’s a very unforgettable memory for him. He made many friends from every country, too. Therefore, he suggests me to apply for this program strongly.

Owing to his encourage and my dream, I have already signed up the program. I hope I can pass the interview and go to America to accomplish my dream next summer vacation. Going to theme park is my dream, and I feel like to be a ride operator, working at this job, I think I can contact with every foreign people; I also can practice my English conversation conveniently. Hence, I believe going to working Holiday will be an extremely authentic way to experience the exotic feelings and their way of life. And, strawberry troops work in the company; however, they do not cooperate with their coworkers because they think they think they just complete their works.

There are four factors to make young people become ‘’strawberry generation.’’ The most common factor is strawberry troops’ parents spoiled them when they were in childhood. It would cause a big problem because strawberry troops always think if they do something wrong, their parents will help them overcome the difficulties. Thus, young people extremely depend on their parents, so they have few opportunities to learn how to solve problems.

Another is school education is also very important. If students do not learn well in subsidiary courses, they will not know how to control their emotions and become moody guys. What even worse, they are not able to resist their pressure. Due to that, they are as fragile as flowers.

Finally, internet is very convenient, so people can get latest information easily. Therefore, young people start pursuing trendy material. In the past people did not take too much money to buy trendy things, but only what they need. However, now young people do not cherish their belongings, and buy many useless things to reward themselves. In the end, they gradually spend more and more money, and even become card slaves.

Second, more and more people prefer buying things online rather than shopping outside. Although credit cards and online shopping are very popular, they also bring some problems. Using credit cards become a unavoidable trend, whereas some people abuse them and depend on them. Therefore, they have no ability to pay up, and they finally break credits or even become homeless. Though shopping online is really handy, sometimes people receive net purchases are different from expects. Maybe it would cause the trading problems or internet fraud.

Many countries have their own and unique festival, in Thailand; Songkran festival day is their New Year, like Chinese New Year. In that day, people have to splash the water to everyone, whether the man you know or not. It’s a very traditional custom, and a symbol of driving out the disease and prey for the good harvest. It’s a unique festival in Thailand; more and more tourists feel like to attend this activity at New Year. In America, Halloween has come to be one of the most recent trends festivals. Many people decorate their home and courtyard with plenty of pumpkins and scarecrows. At night, every adults and children are parading the road with many odd and fearful masks. Trick or treat is the most favorite game for the children, they may bag for candies and allowance from door to door, you need to give it, or they’ll casting a curse to you. It’s so funny, right?!

Therefore, the festivals are vary from country to country. In Taiwan, for example, the most important festival is Chinese New Year. In the day, people can get together from everywhere and they have a family reunion on New Year Eve. Children are very happy because they can receive many red envelopes and wear new clothes. Adults can gamble, chat and watch the variety shows. Mid-Autumn festival is also an important day; people can get together with their family or friends, the most important thing we ought to do in this festival is eat the moon cakes, barbeque and go along with the romantic story about the festival. Tomb sweeping day is a characteristic of festival in Taiwan; we have to go to the cemetery to sweep the tomb, worship the ancestors respectably, and we can eat the delicious spring rolls on Tomb sweeping day. The last but not least, I introduce the Dragon Boat festival. In this day, we have a conventional food to eat, sticky-rice dumplings. My grandmother is good at making it. She always makes many tasty sticky-rice dumplings in relatives. There are another custom in Dragon Boat festival, we also can watch a dragon boat race on the sea or the canal, stand an egg at noon and wear the sachet.

As far as I’m concerned, festivals have their own symbol and custom; we need to learn the different custom and passed it down to your children and grandchildren for good. For this reason, the world can realize the unique festival and beautiful Chinese culture, and we can study the special and exotic festivals from the other foreign countries, too.

I would like to visit Disney World in Florida because there’s a paradise for me.
I have been to Disney Land in LA when I was a child, where I was attracted by the well-known cartoon characters, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Winnie Pooh, for example. I was interested in the vivid spots at the theme park, and I was also frantic with happiness at the entertainment facilities.
In the amusement park, many tourists are all crazy about these famous facilities, such as roller coasters, carousel, and thrill rides. There are various shopping malls, restaurants, and hotels, too, which are always crowded in summer vacation or in the holiday vacation. No one can deny that Disney World is a noted sightseeing spot for every people. It’s my dream to go there; I want to compare the different between two theme parks. Besides, I feel like to challenge myself to taking the exciting facilities, such as roller coasters, drop ride, and haunted house.
Generally speaking, Disney Land and Disney World where are the most popular theme parks in the world. More and more tourists who are designate to visit, and its’ also a dream for children to go there in their childhood. I believe there’s no one can resist the charming and delightful place, include me. Therefore, I hope I can drop in the wonderland, while taking a Working Holiday in America next summer vacation. Most people like to go to consumer cities, such as Paris, Tokyo, London, and more. Some women even regard shopping as their life. When anniversary sales start, my mother sister and friends would spend a lot of money buying clothes, shoes, or cosmetics, but they may not use them. In contrast to my opinion, shopping is not really important. I seldom spend my on something which is not necessary because I am not attracted to shopping. Therefore, I will prefer to go to some mysterious places than consumer cities.

I am interested in reading books about mysterious structures, UFO, or something weird. I am most impressed by Easter Island Statues. Thus, I have determined to go there at least once. This place attracts many tourists every year because of their mysterious cultures and many huge stones named moai. No one can explain who curved these stones and how they moved them. The reason is some archaeologists said one moai would take one year to two years and this place where is destitute of trees. Even more, some of moai have a heavy stone on their head like a hat, so there is also a big question. Who is strong enough to put fifty tons of stone on these moai? It’s no answer, even now. However, one of moai was not erected and it indicated that something might have happened and then inhabitants could not complete it. For these mysteries, I can’t help being attracted by their special culture. One day, I will go there and see the spectacular moai in person. (261 words)

Recently, I saw a funny movie which is called ''Change-up''. The movie is saying two men change their body after they are drunk, and they complain their own life to each other. They do not know the god heard their words, and changes their body after they fall asleep. The older man is called David, who has his own business and family. He always so busy to make his job perfect and help his wife to take care of their two naughty children at the same. The younger man is called Tom, who live in idleness and changes different girlfriends every time. After they find the terrible thing, they screw up so many things because they don't know how to play each other's life. Tom lose a big contrast of David's company, and David also lose Tom's important chance of filming a movie. Due to that, their friendship is getting worse, and Tom almost breaks heart of David's wife.
After these miserable experiences, they decide to make an effort on playing each other's character. It's a big transition for them. It's the first time for Tom to be like a adult, and he just pays all of his attention on how to make up the missing contrast last time. His effort is worthy because he gets this important contrast, and obtains the best benefits that the company has never had before. Tom finally find out that he can be a successful man as long as he want. On the other hand, David also try to play Tom well, and he also experiences so many interest things that he never tried when he was a teenager. He finds that he was too care about his business before, and spend few time to company his family to have some fun.
I think Tom and David are just like many people in this society. People sometimes are confused by their life or sometimes too care about their job that they have no idea about how to have a real happy life. We should value our lifetime to do what we think it is worthy, we should also try hard to reach our goal , and the most important is that don't forget happy is the precious element of our life.

I think that I am lucky to have these chances to go many places and I am happy to fulfill this year and decide these schedules. In fact, I think that it is worthy and meaningful to me, and I am gratified to decide to do these things and have these friends and family’s company. I never think one thing about taking five seconds, I like freedom and trying, if I think it is good and interesting to me, I will do it and I will not regret doing it. In our life, we have many ways to entertain yourself or release your pressure. What about you? I believe you are the same as others. Everyone has a special scale of life to live their everyday. As like me, my favorite activity is strolling around the streets. It plays a so important role in my life. It can be said the central of me. Why I so like it. Because it can give me many things and feelings that I can’t get from others, it always can help me when I need a hand.

The first reason why I like it is that it is like an adventure. I always can find many new and fresh things when I follow it. Every time has different surprise and feeling, and it is like a magician to me. Maybe because I like changeable and special life, I don’t like a regular, boring life. I always tell myself ”if I have a chance to see the world of outside and things I have not ever touch, I will not miss it”. In my experiences, no matter it is happy, angry, sad or shock, I never regret for it. I so appreciate the memories every time I go outside and feelings I get in it. In spite of a dog, a stranger, an embarrass thing, they all are meaningful to me, and they are part of our life.

Another reason is that I often have some places I want to go and some restaurants I want to eat at, so I like go walking then go there to achieve my wants. And I also because strolling around the streets, then find next shop or restaurant I want to go. I think that life should be filled gradually trying and tasting, and I hope that I can work hard for everything that I want to do and live my dream’s life step by step. When I feel unhappy or bored, I will go outside to release myself by breathing, seeing, listening, walking, and feeling. I try to give myself a chance to change my mind and realize something. I think that if I can fill myself a little, then I will have more energy to face future, so those shops and restaurants are like my supporters to encourage me.

The last one is shopping. Although I always say that I just want a window shopping, I still buy something every time. Even if I know I just want to make myself happy to buy it, but I think that if some money can exchange a good mind and a comfortable feeling, then I think it is worth. According to some reports, shopping can make people happy and satisfied, it may be the reason I like shopping. And I think that I lack the sense of security, but shopping can give me a fulfill feeling. It can weep all my garbage and bad things as a cleaner then give me a clean, comfortable environment to live.

I have seen "The Blind Side" three times. I think this film is a good movie and it can show people how to take care of the minority. In this movie, the heroine who named Anne helped a black guy and did not let him stay in danger areas. Big Mike is a black guy who has a mother and his mother loves to smoke opium. Big Mike is one of twelve children who often escapes from foster family wants to see his mother.

Although his intelligence quotient is eighty, he can protect himself very well. Big Mike and Anne's family two children study in the same school. One day, Anne's family saw Big Mike on the way home, and they saw that he just wore a short T-shirt and pants in the cold weather. After they saw him, they decided to take him to their family and treat him as their family member. At first, they thought Big Mike would steal their items, but he did not do it. He clean out the room, and then he left the house in the morning. Finally, they decided to invite him and celebrated the thanksgiving together. In school, a teacher found that Michael was good at playing football, so a teacher decided to teach him. Anne's family also helped Michael, and they did not consider that he was not their family members. We have all encountered bad situations in our lives that later turned out to lead to good things. We have to keep in a good mood to accept bad situations. There are two reasons. Hence, we had to overcome this problem and save the money carefully. I used to take a taxi to the school, but now I have to take a bus for reducing expenses. Also, I had to do anything by myself. However, our family did not have a stable income, and the income was not enough to pay three children’s school fees. Hence, I decided to have a part-time job. I chose to be a clerk, and I worked very hard. At first, I did not adapt myself to the new surroundings. I was shy to introduce items to customers, and I was sometimes bullied by my colleagues. One day, I decided to change myself to become a brave and strong-minded person. Hence, I tried my best to sell the clothes everyday, and when I got my salary and I found that the money increased three thousands. My boss told me that I was very diligent in my work, so he decided to give me a reward. So I not only got a great salary but also had a good experience.

As time went by, I became an independent person. The reason is that I lived with myself and I had to do anything by myself even making the money. Hence, I seldom kept in touch with my family. On the other hand, I had the ability of problem solving and I could earn my living by myself. So I was not a little girl anymore.

Christmas is the most important holiday in December. People like to get together with friends or family in this day. I had a Christmas party with friends two days ago. We held a competition which contains many interesting activities. All the people were divided into two teams. The first part of the game was eating in the night market. The second was the bowling ball competition. The last one also the most attractive one was exchanging gifts. I really have lots of fun. That was an unforgettable of Christmas. The first time I enjoyed a Christmas so much.

The purpose of the first game was to eat as much as you can. The team which eat more kinds of food is the winner. My team members were so excited. As the game has started, we run into the night market. We bought everything which can eat. That was the first time I ate so many different foods in night market. When the game was over, all the members went back to the meeting place. It seems that everyone were really full after the game. The other team has more kinds of food than mine team. So the first we lost.

The second activity was the bowling ball contest. At first, I did not hit ant bowling pins. I almost thought that my team will lose. But thing turned out different at the end of the game. My member was very lucky, and she kept striking the bowling pins. That was a miracle for us. Finally we won the contest. In the bowling alley, there are many video games. After the contest was over we started to play these video games. Everyone were immersed in will fit, the newest video game. The second day, I have a terrible ache in my arms. Maybe I was too excited about playing the bowling ball, so that my arms cannot bear the over exercise. But it is still a interesting game for me.

The last activity was exchanging gifts. Everyone took out their gifts and the leader will put a number on the gifts. Then the most excited moment was picked out a number. I got a box of chocolate. We took many pictures with each others. In the pictures we all smiled so delighted. The first step when I got home was uploaded these pictures. I keep them in my computer. I believe no matter how long the time past, it will stay in my memory.

A Christmas is a good chance for people to relax and really have fun. When I was a child, Christmas was my favorite holiday. I always have a day dream about Christmas. Sunday morning, I woke up with gentle breezes and warm sunshine, so I made a decision to go to the library on campus . I invited bunch of my friends to join this awesome journey with me. When we arrived in the library, we directed to fourth floors because there are all books in English. Afterward we started to cultivate the relationship with the English literature. Unfortunately, lots of it are all Greek to us, and making us almost dozed off in the library. I suddenly had a way in my mind that can making us out of fatigue. I turned to my classmates and announced”Let’s play hide-and-seek! ” All of them bursted into applause. There is no place like the library, large number of bookshelves line-up neat and tidy, and many corners can let us hiding. The game was begun, everyone sneaky to find space for hiding, at the time I saw seeker approaching, the neurotic feeling made me close to scream. After a game end, we regained our consciousness, so we backed to our seat and read concentrately.

Athletes have been appealing to me since I was a kid. Athletes are muscular and energetic. I used to go to school’s playground and stand there watching their training. When they showed their powerful actions on the playground, I was definitely stared them with amazement.

After I studied in university, I started appreciating the people who are the chief executive officers of companies. They are confident and wise. I can imagine that they worked diligently when they were young. They must experience much predicament, but they solved all the problems they met. He created the brand of car that is named “LUXGEN”. Most cars we driven in Taiwan come from Japan or some other countries. But “LUXGEN” is the fist native brand in Taiwan. The really inspires me. K. Y. Yen also has ever fallen into difficult position before. The company suffered a deficit; however, He invented a new model of car. Because of this car, he reversed the arduous situation. The company started profiting again.

Friendship

Today I want to share my experience about getting alone with people. I always get a lot of friends and also have good friendship with them since I was a kid. Good friendship means we like each other, we talk together, and we go to eat together. If I need any help, they are pleased to help me. Even during the special days, we give each other card and present. So I can say that we are good friends.

But there is a situation. We only talk to particular friend when we have something intimate and something about your feeling in our mind. Every person has only one or two, maybe three that you can express your feeling to. I can understand that it’s not easy to share everything to your friends, unless the one who is your intimate, your specially appointed friend. So I have a fanciful idea. I want to try whether it is possible to let people talking something about their feeling, to talk more about their inside, even I’m not his or her special appointed friend. So I asked a few people some questions like “Would you like to talk some secrets?” or “Do you have any special hobby?” something like that. However, I could not get too much response actually. I realized it’s not as easy as what I think. People, especially female tend to share feelings to someone who can be trusted. As a result, I didn't fulfill anything. But it’s still a very interesting experiment I have done. I will be valuing my friend who is willing to share their secret to me.

My College Life

It is very fast that I am a junior now. I often think back my past two years. I remember when I was a freshman, I joined the Yunlin association because I have no friends then, and the members in this club are all from Yunlin, which is my hometown. As a result, they made me feel kind.

When I joined the club, I became very easy. We had to prepare the camp which would be held in the elementary school of Yunlin. It seems that we had one semester to prepare, but we still thought the time was not enough for us because it was a little complex. We had to prepare the evening party and what we had to teach for the children. There were mainly two things we had to prepare. We needed to spend many time preparing them. I remember that we went back to the dormitory almost 12:00 p.m. Then we had to take baths quickly because as soon as it was 12:00 p.m., we had to take a cold shower. And we would feel comfortable after the bath, and we could fall asleep soon. This was my life when I was a freshman.

On the second year, I was one of the cadres in this club. I was busier than the first year. We had to prepare not only the camp in Yunlin, but also the activities in our school. We need to plan each activity at least one half a month ago. Each of those activities is a complex. All cadres had no experience of them so we needed to ask many predecessors who had those experiences before we planned it. Of course, we still can have our own thoughts to each activity to make it better. But, before those new ideas, we should think it over about the results.

It was not easy to be the cadres. We needed to understand each of our cadres during the process. Not every cadre was easy to get along with. We are the team, so we should tolerate one another so that we could do everything favorably. During the process, all of us have met something unhappy. Sometimes I wanted to give it up, but I knew I couldn't do that because I would make troubles to other cadres. So I still stayed with them. And I thanked some of them very much because they often encouraged me so that I could be strong toward everything, including my schoolwork.

Now, I am a junior. I have retired. It is a new beginning. I have to concentrate on my schoolwork, and explore myself to my job in the future. Now what I want to do is up to me. Thesesituations influence national policies like welfare policies, nursery caring,and the immigration policy of foreign laborers. The declining birthrate arises from many factors like feministconsciousness and economic pressure. It also causes that schools are closureand the population of young people diminishes. Among all my roommates in college, I can see three different types of personality: the “visible” roommate, “hidden” roommate, and “invisible” roommate. The first one, the “visible” roommate, means that I can know some message from her face. Interestingly, Ann’s face will tell me whether her mood is good or bad. In that time, Taiwanese was my foreign language although I am a Taiwanese. After I entered elementary school, my brother started to talk in Taiwanese. Because of the reason, I started to learn Taiwanese. I paid attention to my parents’ dialogues. With time I tried to talk in Taiwanese with my parents. Usually my pronunciation was not correct, my parent would rectify it.

Courage is one of the important things to learn foreign language. People, particularly Chinese, are afraid of talking to a native speaker of other foreign language. We are afraid to making mistake and to be embarrassed. Yet, mustering up his or her courage is one way to improve skill of language. Until I enter English department, I was also afraid to talk to foreign. Making a sentence and check the grammar was the way what I talked to foreign teacher when I was freshman. Now my conversation skill is better because teacher train us embolden saying. I say what I want to say without making sentence and check it.

People not only use language in written and reading, the most using is conversation: speaking and listening. There are many way to make learners perfect his or her language learning. Environment and courage are two of the important things to learning and improving language skill I think.

In my mind, I always think people in London always polite and courteous because all of them are civilized. However, this paragraph broke my opinion. It said many young people cause serious riots in London. They vandalized and looted shops, attacked police officers, and set fire to vehicles. But, why they marched in protest?

The paragraph told that the reason is the financial crisis and the high unemployment in England. Is it true? In fact, at the beginning they protested against shooting of Black person. According the research, the British think the biggest reason I s young people just regarded riots as games. Because the police arrested groups of masked young people who are teachers, professors, and rich guys, their protest is not against the economic recessions. Maybe they are under pressure, or their education has some problems. No matter what reasons cause, this riots already shocked all the people all over the world because British is the most democratic country.

There are a lot of victims of the riots. One of victim’s father said “Blacks, Asians, and Whites, we lived in the same community. The most important thing is the people whose lives and property right may be threaten by typhoon. Let’s talk about the tropical country, Philippine, where neighbors on Taiwan. The weather is the same as Taiwan that suffers from hitting by typhoon between May and October. Unfortunately, Philippine is located at the vital communications lines in Asia, therefore the fierce typhoon always hover and wreck the island. Once the typhoon hit Philippine, the country may become chaos and the people may run into homeless or died in the disaster. Short of food and outbreak the highly contagious disease is also a common sight after the typhoon. In my opinion, lack of correct knowledge about precautions against typhoon is the leading problem, hence the death toll are more and more high.
As far as I’m concerned, the authority ought to educate the people how to prepare for and evacuate the typhoon. Prepare for it in advance is a major thing, people need to dredge the gutter for fear that the garbage or leaf stock it. We have to fix the window, potted plant, and signboard. I am curious about "teenager rebellion". And I know this is mainly related to adolescence. Many parents need to be very patient to those teenagers. During the time, teenagers will be different. They may be do something they haven't done before. There are many things fresh to them, and it makes them want to do it.

It is very common that teenagers' behaviors become different from how they were during the adolescent time. It makes me think of the time when I was a teenager. I was rebellious at that time. My attitude was not good to my parents, but they were very patient to me. This time I thought my parents didn't understand me and I didn't want to talk to them but my friends. I didn't do something trouble outside then. I just felt that friends were very important to me.

I have known that at the beginning of their adolescence, one part of their brains which is responsible for emotion will grow fast. But the other part which is responsible for controlling emotions doesn't grow well. That is why rebellious youths become anxious easily. When they are in bad emotions, they will be unable to control their behaviors. Maybe they will fight with other students and thus cause many troubles. From TV News, we can see that many terrible events are caused by teenagers. When the troubles happen, parents need to solve it. Parents are still responsible for those teenagers. It seems that their children don't have to be responsible for anything.

I believe when the rebellious time passes, most of us will feel how childish we were. Just like me, I am repentant to my bad thoughts at that time. The rebellious phenomenon is common. Our emotions are the main character to the bad behaviors because we can't control our emotions easily during the rebellious time. It is inevitable. Net friends sometime are not good guys, but some people would be cheated by their appearance. The Internet world is not as wonderful as our thinking.      I think nobody like to be called fat because our culture value thinkness is very

to lose their weight so that they can cater people's judgment.But,how about
children ? They do not care about people's judgment,and they just care about if
they can eat their favorite food or not.All their concept about foods is come from

However, things does not always turn out the way we think they will.Sometimes, the typhoon is so strong that it leads to the disaster. Therefore,everything has its two sides: good and bad sides.

Recently, we could read several newsabout Philippines on BBC News. Philippines was struck by two typhoons in matterof days. They were Nesat and Nalgae. The first one, Nesat, killed at least thirty-nine people and caused destruction in thePhilippines. Nevertheless, that was not the worst situation to Philippinesbecause the second typhoon, Nalgae, battered northern areas with ferociouswinds and heavy rain. A lot of religions were still submerged by the earlier storm Nesat. Thestorm, Nalgae, tracked roughly the same path as typhoon Nesat. Hence, typhoons Nesat and Nalgae have brought a double dose of rain andfloods. Who could image that two typhoons lashed the same religions just in afew days? I think the residents in Philippines were astonished by this event. Itwas Philippines that suffered frequent typhoons about twenty a year.

Reading the news about Philippines made me remind the typhoon Morakot in2009. It was the most serious flood after typhoon Ellen in 1959. There was ainteresting thing that when the typhoon Ellen was fifty anniversary, thetyphoon Morakot happened. Although typhoon Morakot stayed in Taiwan four days,from Aug. sixth to Aug. tenth, it brought a huge damage to our lives andproperty. Especially in south of Taiwan, the destruction was the worst. Forexample, due to a landslide, the Xiaolinvillage was missing. Most residents of Xiaolin were buried by a massive mudslidethat destroyed most of the town. There were only fewer people relieved. To thosepeople who were relived, how were their feelings that when they knew theirfamily were dead, only themselves were still alive? It was so miserable andwretched. The other example was Jinshuai Hotel in Taitung. Because thefoundation of Jinshuai Hotel was hollowed by the flood, the hotel fell down inTen seconds. Watching this scene on TV, I couldn’t forget that forever. Eventhough I was not in the site, it seemed happening before my sight. It reallyshocked me.

No matter where the typhoon is , Taiwanor Philippines or anywhere , the most important thing is that people in thesame country should unite and help each other. When the typhoon Morakot happened,the artists and stars all stood out to raise money. That is not an easy problemthat only government can deal with. 　Rodemeyer's mother said, "besides family, Lady Gaga was the biggest influence in his life."

If we ask someone “Have you ever been bullied or know others been bullied?” They answer must be “Yes, I have.” How a fearsome thing is. Generally, the victims are not to say or find someone for help. Lady Gaga was a weird girl in college. Her classmates did not like her so no one wants to make friend to her. They also mocked Lady Gaga in verbal way. But she has not been defeated in her life. She uses the experience as the strength. After that period, Lady Gaga concentrates her attention on music. She listens to music, composes the song and performs the show in club. Now, she is a super star in the world. The same experience as Lin Yu Chun has. He was fat and ugly in childhood. No one wants to be his friend and tells him how to do it. The first one is tell someone that you need a help. We cannot just keep in silence and do nothing. The second one is do exercises. Running or playing basketball can release our pressure. The third one is concentrate on one thing. If we concentrate on one thing or something that we are interest in, we will forget what we encounter the difficulties. Bullying can make people hopeless also can make people stronger. Successful or not, it depends on how your view point is.

In this article, I am so surprise that even an expectant mother keep smoking during the gestation. Nicotine contains more than 2000 substances and that will cause a great danger to both the mother and baby. A mother who keeps smoking during the gestation will increase more chance to get complication than a non smoking mother. Nevertheless the baby grow in this condition may born with lower weigh because the nicotine reduce the oxygen contribution to the tissues. The other risk is that the baby may be premature birth. A premature birth baby will even leave permanent physical or mental problem afterwards.

Besides the pregnant smokers, teenager smokers are one of the problems that need to be care. In the report said that almost eighty percent adult start to smoke when they are teenagers. Some teenagers think smoke as an adult behavior. They use this action to act like they are cool or special. In fact, the nicotine really has the ability to suppress feelings but it very easy to get addicted. The research also shows that the teenagers between 13 to 17 years olds who smoke are more likely to use others drug substance. The earlier you try to smoke the more chance to get addicted. Two Unforgettable Concerts

This year I watched two concerts in 22 and 28, May. One was “NICONICO Daikaigi”; another was “ASIAN NEW STORY LIVE 2”. Both of them were awesome for me. I could not forget any part, any second in my memory. It was life-enhancing.

Both of these concerts were come from Japan. All the performers, including singer, dancer and instrumentalist, were Japanese. They were all the users in NICONICO; they upload their works including singing, musical instrument playing and dancing video. Some performers are amazing; they are amateur but have professional skill. Many of them publish CDs, and sometimes the sales volumes are better than artists. Because of amateur, they still have another job; even now many correlative concerts are hold, it is still hard if we cannot go to Japan join the concerts.

NICONICO Daikaigi was a concert held by a large website called NICONICO. The word NICONICO in Japanese means smile, and Daikagi means a big convention. This concert was more official than “ASIAN NEW STORY LIVE”. Because NICONICO is a company, same as they held in Japan, at the beginning in the concert they gave new information about their new function to all users. After the introductions, it started the performance part. Some of my favorite singers joined this concert; I could not hold my tears when I heard they were singing.

ASIAN NEW STORY LIVE was held by an instrumentalist who plays piano called Zimuin-G, also a performer joined in NICONICO Daikaigi. This time was the second time he held the concert. The notion which he wants to hold in Taiwan is because he thought Japan had many concert about NICONICO’s performers, Taiwan’s users are the second most than Japan, “Why Taiwan had no any kinds of concert? That is unfair!!” he said. This time one of the performers he invited is my most favorite male singer. I was so glad that a can watch he on the stage and listen to his vocal and song. Same as watching NICONICO Dikaigi, when my favorite singer came on the stage, I was in tears.

Both two concerts impressed me a lot. The professional skill they showed was excellent. All performers were gracious and friendly. If they will hold next time, no matter what happened, I will against all odds to join it.

The Most Beautiful Train Station

It was three months ago before I went home this time. I would never imagine that I leave home for such long time. When I take this job and responsibility, things come one after one. I almost overwhelmed by those things. There are so many things to do in each day. Even my friend can feel that I’m getting busy and I don’t spend as much time as before with them although I try hard to make time for them.

I didn’t go home, even the school had started. Eventually, I got a free weekend so I reserve the train ticket. The day I arrived is my mom’s birthday, and I bought a cake for her. There are tears almost pour out of my eyes when I stood in front of the show case, but I hold it. I think the reason why I felt crying is that going home, buying a cake is the only little thing that I can do for my family. When I arrived home, it’s 11 something.

My families seldom go out because my parents are always busy for the job. But, this time they decide to bring me to the most beautiful train station and the best view of school. It’s not so far from home. It just takes 20 minutes.

There a small platform aside the track. Seeing out away from the platform is the vast and boundless Pacific Ocean. Across the tracks, there is a school which is made by Japanese. Beside the school there is a police office of Japanese. It’s a shame that both of them are discarded because the population of village has been descended.

It’s a great inspiration and encouragement for my mind. The landscape lessens the pressure. It’s a supplement for me. Electrifying myself so that I can come back and work.

When students spend time both on studying and working. They may too tire to study or busy in working, so they don’t have much time to prepare their tests or reports well. Finally, they will easily absent from college.

If there are anyone who drop out of college around you, and you have to encourage him or her to study continually or to learn some professional skills. An Unforgettable Trip to Tunghai University

Every time when I saw this picture, I would never forget the wonderfultrip to Tunghai university.

On theChristmas Eve, my sister invited me to joy in the Christmas party with her. At thevery beginning, I did not want to go to Taichung at all, and the most importantthing is that I had no idea about the party. When I tried to refuse my sister’sinvitation, she sent me the E-mail which was the introduction of the Tunghaiuniversity. I was attracted by the famous landmark—the Luce MemorialChapel. This was the reason I decided to spend my Christmas holiday at Taichung. Therefore,I got on the train, and started my journey.

Honestly, Iwas glad to go to Tunghai university. First, the Tunghai university is the mostbeautiful campus in Taichung. The tidy classroom and the vast campus was myfirst impression of Tunghai. Second, the atmosphere of the campus is so romantic,and the most unforgettable thing for me was to visit the chapelthat I always dreamed of. When I came closer to see the chapel, I found that itwas so spectacular and magnificent, and I would never forget this experience.

A trip to Kenting

This summer vacation my family and I went to Kenting to spend our summer time and this is the third time that I came to Kenting. I love Kenting so much not only the beaches in there are so beautiful but also the people in there are so friendly and very hospitable. We drove about 5 hours to Kenting, when we got there it is almost the dinner time so we went to the restaurant first, we chose the Thai food for dinner, it is taste so delicious and very genuine that makes me want to eat more and more. After dinner we went to the Kenting Road the most popular place in Kenting, it contain restaurants、pubs、many delicious delicacy and the night markets in there sometimes people will play the fireworks in the middle of the Kenting Road at night and that was really so beautiful, we ate some food in the night markets and bought some shoes until very late then we went to the hotel to check in.

In the next day, we went to sea for surfing. It was my first time to try the surfing, when I standed on the surfboard I was so scare and fall into the sea many times but I keep practicing finally I can stand well on it and start to surf like other people. It is so fun to play at the beach, you can also lie on the beach to feel the sea breeze and feel relax and comfortable. After playing at the beach we went to Kenting National Park, in there has many wild animals also the air is really good and I even gain some extra knowledge too. The time is late when we finished visit the park and we do not prepare to stay in Kenting more than two days so we just drove back to home. Although it is a short trip but it still makes me feel happy and want to go to Kenting again.

The best day of my life

Its make me felt extremely unforgettable and joyful, my twenty years old birthday. I can’t forget the surprise party at that day for good. My friends inveigled me to walk alone by myself to classroom. They ganged up everyone to hide and prepare to give me the birthday surprise. On my way to classroom, everybody run and surround me. Suddenly, someone seized me and bound me to a stake with a strong rope. The disgusting birthday ceremony was started. My friends threw numerous eggs to me; they even invited other pedestrians to join them. Then, they poured the milk, chocolate sauce, and beverages to me. To felt nauseated, my friends sprayed the flour, sugar and powder to my stinking body. I felt highly embarrassed as many passersby looked me and took pictures. Finally, my friends presented me a very huge birthday card and costly jeans, which is my preference style. Consequently, I was greatly moved by their kindness and plan. I think I won’t forget this memorable birthday forever, I also won’t erase the disgusting odor on my body. I spent almost five days to clean the smelly out. Nevertheless, I’m still thanks for my good friends, and the day is really my best day of my life. (211)

Five years ago, my beloved grandmother passed away at the hospital. I was extremely sorrowful, because I can’t imagine a person I was so in love with, who left me for good. She was my grandmother, but on the contrary she like my good friend. She taught me many things, life rules, etiquette, common sense and principle, etc.
I still remember my grandmother’s exhort. She was really a kind woman. She didn’t blame me for making mistakes. Spending much time to teach me softly instead. Once upon the time, out of naughty, I took a scissors for playing. I cut many papers, many tissues, and many things including grandmother’s favorite dress. Nonetheless, she didn’t irate and yell to me, she asked me to put the scissors down. She was afraid of being wounded. My grandmother never hid her concerned with me. She took care of my health, my nutrition and my schoolwork meticulously. I like her very much; we often went to amusement park,department store,zoo,beach before and MacDonald. Furthermore, she gave me many gifts,toys,clothes,candy every now and then. I prefer chatting to her; she knew much secret in my mind. When I encountered frustrated or unhappy things I was sure to tell her. She also told her suggestion to me and comforted. Until nowadays, I’m still keep the rules,etiquette and principle in my mind, which taught by my dear grandmother. I love her; my grandmother is really a person who changed my life. As far as I’m concerned, she never perishes, she just takes a trip to an extremely far place. But her spirit gets along with me for good all the time. (288)

Test is a very common expression to test the extent of child , children have the test from elementary to university. In Taiwan’s school , there are always test in the morning , after class and in the class , also have midterm and final test in one semester . Test always around us in our life, whatever we hate test frequently. We should prepared it advance . When you does not prepared it , you will not pass the test also will not get the good grades in your test and fail it in the final ,the worse is you may cheat in your exam and get zero when teacher find you are cheating .You did not learning anything in your book and just take a trick to the test. When you prepared it , you will not get the high or good grades, but you will pass it and without cheating . You will learn many knowledge in you head and it will get some uses in your life.

No matter we will test the exam or not , I think we have to study every moment .because studying is a long way and we just not learning for the test , it’s for us.

What I Expect from Thrid-Year English Writing Class

In the third-year English writing class I expect that I can learn more words, correct my Punctuation, improve my grammar and also write the good essay.

First I must learn 30 words per week, because I need to repeat and repeat to learn the 30 words in the week. Until I can spell the word which I had learn in the week that without any prompt and practice it every day.

The next is to improve Punctuation, although I do it well, I think I also need to improve it. I want to do it better than I have done and more understand it that I might use it very well. So I need to practice it every day too.

The third thing that I expect is correct my grammar, I know I had made lots of mistake in the English grammar, but I hope that I could correct all of it in the future. I think that I must have good ability in grammar and then I could write the good essay. And if I have good ability in grammar I probably can write the most perfect essay that I ever wrote!

The last thing is to write a good essay. I think if I could finish the entire thing that above this paragraph, I will do it well, and I just need to practice it every week! Practice make perfect.
